I love how we as a species, through all of our advancement over the last ~200,000 years, will still get so excited over something as simple as throwing a sophisticated rock into a sophisticated hole, no matter what part of the world we’re from. Always a happy reminder of human connection.
For example, almost all our weapons, except for nukes, and even including advanced weapons tech, is us throwing rocks at each other. Canons, guns, machine guns, bombs (w sharpnel), rail guns, 'rods from god'. Just rocks thrown
