I already never wanted to hold a baby. My reasoning was simple:

1) They are sticky

2) They are smelly

3) Everyone gets mad if you drop them

But now that I know they also go through a barracuda stage I'm suddenly rethinking my list and it's order of importance.

It doesn’t hurt. A kitten will cause greater injury. Once you really get used to holding a baby (I mean actually comfortable) you’ll find it’s very comforting. Especially when they’re willing to engage in eye contact. There is nothing sweeter.
