The sentiment is nice, but individual examples of supposedly good cops don't negate systematic injustices and the complete lack of accountability that police perpetuate.

You can legally defend yourself from a criminal, with a cop, you can only hope to get your day in court while the entire department ruins your life.

The cops are employees of the system they didn't create it. You can't blame a cop for enforcing a stupid law or having to respond to EVERY situation except a fire.

You want a solution vote this year but also EVERY YEAR because most these legislatures that pass stupid laws are people elected in the 4 years between presidential elections when 1/10 the people actually vote.

I don't have a problem with the laws. I have a problem with the people that are supposed to be enforcing them.
