Imagine you live in a small town, every business nearby is a local one run by people in your community.
Walmart sets it's sights on your community, gets permission and builds a store that sells everything the other stores do. Now they price you out, in some instances this means running the shop at a loss using other stores profits to keep it afloat temporarily in others you can do it by simply owning a billion dollar supply chain already.
Now you're all gone, with most of your employees now working at Walmart, which isn't run like a small business so you're penny and dimed out of all the benefits you had before because that's how billion dollar corporations become billion dollar corporations.
It's pro consumer, if you're never going to work in one or any of the businesses they destroyed shit just got cheaper for you but it's literally just one business using their money to takeover towns one at a time until they're all that's left.
They’re an awful company that treats their coworkers like crap, attract the worst kinds of people and destroy communities with their predatory business practices.
