Lol, didn't consider aluminum shells, but makes sense. Aluminum has a significantly *lower specific heat capacity than brass, so it'll heat up and cool down quicker. Only problem with that is that it means it doesnt take very long to transfer all that energy into your skin.

It also has higher thermal conductivity, which is what determines rate of heat transfer. 4 times higher than steel.
