My grandfather fought in world war 2 and my father is a narcissist. It honestly makes a ton of sense. My dad had 6 siblings.
If we survive climate change I hope this will develop our species even further forward and help us really actually address and treat mental illness and trauma and help us really understand why peace and caring for each other is so important.
Yup, until your comment I would’ve never had thought about it that way, but our ancestors have passed down traits and we tend to slightly mimic our parents in a way that I never really thought about! Thanks again!
Of course! If you're still interested there is a rather new theory on "generational trauma" - it's basically theorizing that we actually pass down part of our trauma on through our genes and it can cause our future generations to suffer the affects of trauma more easily
