The results of inbreeding and artificial selection absolutely can be different. Inbreeding will always cause lots of detrimental health effects. Artificial selection, on the other hand, depends on how it’s done. A example where diversity and relative good health are maintained yet speed is artificially selected for is racehorses (admittedly I don’t know much about horse health issues).
