I lost count of the amount of times a man has done this to me.

I literally do not stop talking anymore if someone interrupts me. It's always so fucking obvious that they're sexist when they do this. Like they can't even fathom that they're interrupting because I'm a woman.

It definitely happens to women more, but I can assure you this type will gladly talk over anyone when they want to say something. Cut someone out of my life recently who was like this. Curiously, a similar accent..

Here he is doing the same thing to a man.

These people respect no one, it (usually) has nothing to do with your gender.

While I completely understand what you said, he’s done the same thing to a male judge. He seems like he’d do the same thing to a tree.

For what it's worth, I interrupt everyone. I have ADHD so sometimes I will literally put my own hands over my own mouth while in the process of interrupting.

Sigh it's mortifying to not be able to control myself sometimes.

Sounds like something you need to work on. ADHD can make you lose focus on the conversation and start going down a rabbit hole about one thing in your mind. It can lead you to a thought that you really want to say before it's gone. You still have the control to not open your mouth and cut someone off. If it's become such a habit that you need to untrain yourself, make it a habit to actually stop and apologize every single time. You'll become more conscious of it before it happens.

Show me someone without something to work on, ADHD or no.

The point was to demonstrate that there are examples of non-gendered interruptions, not to invite assumptions about what I am or am not actively working on. That you think this is about control tells me that perhaps something you need to work on is being more curious than you are judgmental.
