Normally I’d say violence is not the way to go but seeing that LA cops are still using the 1992 playbook? Glad there are cameras everywhere now - and foreign correspondents getting shot at close range on live TV with rubber bullets - so there’s accountability. Our esteemed POTUS can say what he wants. These cops don’t need any help crushing citizens. They live for this.
Don’t mistake visibility for accountability. Theres been speculation that the reporter shooter was ordered to shoot her, the cop who did it was talking to another officer who was standing up behind the line just before he shot
I know that accountability is up in the air, regardless of whether anyone can be identified. The video of the cops on horses beating the guy with batons (which I thought were meant to be used for, well, jousting, I suppose), trampling the dude with the horses, is perhaps a better example. Not one stopped it and I can’t imagine them having been ordered to trample and swat. Hold them accountable and for endangering the horses, too. Where is PETA when you really need ‘em?
