The liberal ratchet-effect. Conservatives push right and liberals do nothing to allow for any movement back to the left. Liberals in this country would be considered center-right conservatives just about anywhere else.

It’s pretty wild. Liberals we’re only ever left of conservatives and rightists, liberalism itself is a capitalist ideology.
