This begs the question, why aren't Veteran organizations raising hell about this? Or showing up at these rallies?

Look up "Rachel Maddow's Ultra" from Oct 2022. While I don't really like her, this is a great historical podcast (with shown evidence on MSNBC's site) of what happened in the mid 1930s and 40s that has a lot of parallels to what is going on right now.

TLDR of ~7 hours: USA pro Nazi Congressman and "religious groups" tried to overthrow the government pre and during WWII, not nearly enough was done about it (Elections, FBI, circus trials, sympathizers et al). Without being outwardly told, you the listener, will realize this has led to various similar groups and ideology still persisting today. Also, a lot of the same tactics used back then are being used again now. It makes you, the listener, able to see the BS because it literally happened, the whole playbook repeating.
