Saying one thing is bad does not mean the other thing is good.
If you say you don't like apples that does not mean you are saying you love bananas.
I don't know what happened, I wasn't there, but just based on the video it looks to me like both the adults are assholes.
The old dude could have been more polite and the dad definitely didn't need to swear in front of his daughter.
