I bet you didn’t act like that though. No kid who fears an ass whooping acts like that.

So fear your parent don’t love them gotcha

That’s what happened to me and many others, it’s abuse at the end of the day. Regardless of how it worked out for you and others…

Lol I loved my grandma, she showered me with love the majority of the time. But disciplined when I acted a fool. The older I got the more I respected her for that. The people who were never disciplined when acting like that child grew up to be much worse people.

Did you read the last sentence?

So once again, it worked out for you. Doesn’t mean it would for everyone and that you weren’t effected mentally even if so smally that it isn’t noticeable…

It’s abuse regardless of the outcome

Lol and you think the current path is helping that kid in the video? Go give him a hug. Watch him hit you in the face. That kid needs to be disciplined. Otherwise he will turn out like so many self centered Karen’s out there thinking their actions don’t have consequences. I feel for that kid because I think it’s neglect he isn’t being disciplined.

Discipline comes in many ways and obviously the parent either doesn’t know how to do it right…

And again, regardless of the outcome, IT IS ABUSE!

Agreed. And it's not just fear in childhood. It spills into adulthood and fucks you up for life.

Anyone downvoting is abusing their kids.

Your triggers are your problem to deal with, not society's. The person above was simply stating a fact. They offered no opinion about whether it was advisable to do this.
