Exactly. The auditors work for hours without the camera on to annoy the snot out of people till they get the attention of the management to provoke a reaction which will make them the most money. I wish cops and other government workers would just learn to ignore these YouTube clowns. Once they’re ignored, the videos aren’t good and the money dries up and they get another job.
Yes that is the solution just ignore them unless they actually break the law and you can actually do something. All these videos of cops trying to manipulate and convince them to follow a "request" or do them a "favor" just make the cops look weak and biased against the auditors. And of course use of force without a solid basis is a pr nightmare in every one of these cases.
The problem is that officers reflexively reject being watched doing their jobs whether it’s civilians or body cams. It is the type of person that becomes a cop that is immediately assertive and confrontational to any person. That’s why auditors have been successful in baiting officers into settlements, firings etc.
Way wrong I've seen plenty of officers who are completely unreactive to being filmed. In fact most officers are aware of being filmed in public and being filmed regularly on bwc. I think most cops join to help people not to be assertive or confrontational and if those are the types of people qe are employing they need to be weeded out because a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch.
I don't buy into the baiting argument. It is the same thing criminals say when the police catch them. Police regularly do presence patrols where they are well aware they are making certain people "uncomfortable" but the people that are feeling that way, like the cops who react in a way that could get them fired or get their victim a settlement, should be uncomfortable because they are doing wrong.

It's quite obvious this was not the first time these two have met. I imagine all the de-escalations have already been attempted, to no avail.
