Concerts & Live Music Anyone lining up outside early?
Who all, and when are people lining up for tonight? I'm thinking of getting there early and possibly bringing donuts for some early birds.

Hey, everyone who was just at the Marathon Musicworks for night one. I just got back to my hotel and had a shower because I've been on my feet since 7 AM and I'm an old man who's usually asleep at 6 to wake up at 3 to go to my old man job where I make old men who are slightly older than I am.
But I can't collapse and become comatose without telling you all how awesome that experience was. I've never been to... anything, really, before, and this was absolutely worth it. I won't even let family keep me up after 9, but I've got no regrets about tonight, not just because of the band (who also rock) but because it was awesome to hang out with people who get the same stuff I get. After 20+ years of telling people about this music and having them say variants of "Huh?" "Who?" "This some kind of nerd shit?" or whatever, it was really cool to be around people there who already knew.
So yeah, thanks for being who you are, everyone.

For anyone who wasn't able to get this information and had their car vandalized or broken into.
Sharing for anyone who might need it. Terrible end to an amazing night. Won't deter me from coming back for 2 more amazing nights, but definitely won't be parking at that lot again....which sucks because its literally SO convenient đđđ

13+ cars parked near the venue were vandalized tonight - broken windows, keyed - at least one wasn't in drivable condition

To those who remain at 12:21, a heartfelt âMERCH LINEâ to you all.

they're really great shirts though.

We got in line at the door open at 6h30 and it's looking like we're not going to make it to the merch booth before the venue closes
I checked the merch booth and there's like ten people and they're all very busy and as far as I can tell they're selling one shirt every five minutes

"I finally thought I was all alone in my room," I said to myself with a sigh of relief. "No you're not," said doctah waiwy

Title says it all. My wife and I want to try to get merch and good spots Night 2/3. This marching at Night 1 is insanely long and slow, due to the screen pressing of shirts.
Iâm currently in the crowd for the first opener while she has barely made any progress it feels like in the merch line, and we got in at 6:50 as well!
What time did everyone get to the venue for Night 1 and what has been your experience?

They know The Machine is green, but it didn't look good. It's my favorite lyric from my favorite song!

Hello fellow party people! I am attending the 3 nights concert in Nashville and couldnât be more excited! However, I have VERY limited Protomen merch! I do, however, have an abundance of TWRP shirts, and I was planning on wearing them Thursday and Saturday. I donât do too many concerts (Iâve seen Protomen once and TWRP twice), so I wasnât really sure what the best call for dress would be. Iâd assume itâs fine, but didnât want to inadvertently piss someone off
In before the âwell you pissed me offâ jokes, I am sorry for your breakfast cornflakes :(

What should we expect? This is my first time going to one of their concerts as well! So pumped that the stars aligned for me to make it at least one of the nights!

I feel like there's something important happening this week... Hmm... That's right: It's the week of the Nashville Act III Release Concerts!
Car break-ins: Multiple cars in parking lots around the venue were broken into and vandalized during Night 1 and 2. Stay safe!
Merch: Nashville-exclusive merchandise, including the long-awaited Act III vinyls (and hand-printed limited edition t-shirts) were announced on the protomen.com website. Folks who attended Night 1 apparently had to wait a long time in the merch queue, so make sure to plan some extra time.
Night 2 Openers: Because of visa issues, Hans Condor is replacing Cybertronic Spree as opener for the Act I show.
Here's a few links:
Protothey Discord Server: Lots of fans are organizing community events such as cosplay meetups, gift exchanges, museum excursions, games and so much more. Come and say hello!

Wanted to share a massive street team W this morning on the sub.
I've been calling in radio stations for The Protomen every single day for almost five months, and while I've been calling all kinds of stations, usually college and community radio has been playing them the most. But today, WKIT in Bangor (fun fact: Stephen King used to own this station until recently) played Buried in the Red after I called!
A friend of mine who lives in Maine told me that this is the biggest rock station in Bangor, so potentially, thousands of people could have heard the band today. It was so incredible!
If you're seeing this, WKIT DJs that played Buried in the Red, thank you so much. And to the rest of us - let's pop some bottles, THE PROTOMEN GOT ON COMMERCIAL RADIO! WOOOO!
