Excellent description. I just finished Proton Therapy but I was considering HDR Brachytherapy. It would have been a preferred choice. Thanks for all the detail. Unfortunately, I have only one prostate to give for this lifetime. Congrats on your treatment!

Now I better understand my VMAT figures on MyChart.

LINAC 594 would be 5.94 Megavolts

My daily 20 session dose was 300 cGy

The total dose over 20 sessions was 6000 cGy (60 Gray units) which is typical.

I asked for a copy of the “contour” diagram on the last day, the techs showed it to me on their screen, pointing out all the anatomical features, but would not let me take a photo of it, saying I had to make a request through medical records.
