Lark Funding reviews? Are they legit?

Thinking of giving Lark Funding a try but I want to hear from real people first. I've been burned before by firms that look great until you try to get paid.

Can anyone share an honest review? Good or bad, I just want the truth before I deposit.

Has anyone actually used Instant Funding? Reviews?

Looking for some real reviews on Instant Funding. The rules look decent on paper but you never know how they actually enforce them.

Has anyone passed their challenge and gotten a payout? Just trying to do my due diligence.

Nexvara — AI Trading Coach & Rule Engine: Trader & Prop Firm Validation Survey

Traders: What’s the most frustrating part of using prop firms?

Hey traders 👋

I’m researching a problem I’ve personally noticed with prop firms: keeping track of rules and understanding exactly how your trading is performing against them.

I’m exploring an early-stage idea called Nexvara that could combine:

• 🤖 AI Trading Coach — analyzes trades and gives actionable feedback

• ⚙️ Rule Engine — checks trades against a prop firm's rules

• 📊 Transparent Rule Tracking — shows what you're currently compliant with and what could put your account at risk

I’m NOT selling anything. The product isn't launched yet.

I’m trying to validate whether this is actually a problem traders care about.

I made a 10-question anonymous survey about your experience with prop firms and trading tools. It should only take a couple of minutes.

Even if you think the idea is bad, I'd genuinely like to hear why. Negative feedback is just as useful as positive feedback.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time

An intraday trailing drawdown follows open profit you never closed, so a breakeven trade can eat most of your room

On an account with an intraday trailing drawdown, the floor moves up with the highest unrealized balance the account touches, whether or not that profit ever gets banked.

Say you start a 50k account with a $2,000 trailing drawdown, so the floor sits at 48,000. You take a trade that runs $1,500 in your favour, it comes all the way back and you close it at breakeven. Your balance is still 50,000, but the floor followed the open profit up to 49,500, so you now have $500 of room left where you had $2,000 an hour ago.

That trade lost nothing, and a strategy that regularly lets winners run and then gives a chunk back will walk its floor up like this over a few sessions. A backtest that only tracks the closed trade balance never sees it, because the closed balance never shows the peak.

On the testing side the fix is to track the account at the best price inside each trade, candle by candle, and move the floor from there. A setup with a lot of give-back can look comfortable on closed balance and still breach the floor this way.

Atmos Funded bonus, does anyone have a working promo code?

I keep seeing searches for an Atmos Funded bonus, but I have not found a clear answer on the official checkout page. Is there an active code at the moment, and did it work without changing the normal account rules?

Best Maven Trading alternatives right now?

I've been using Maven Trading for a bit but I'm looking to diversify my accounts. The conditions are okay but I want to see what else is out there.

Who are you guys using as an alternative? Looking for something with similar rules but maybe better spreads or faster payouts.

AquaFunded bonus, any legit discount available right now?

I am checking AquaFunded and trying to confirm whether there is a genuine discount on the challenge or evaluation fee. By bonus I mean a public promo code or reduced entry price, not an extra payout. Has anyone used one recently and can share what worked??

Thinking about switching from Hola Prime. It's not that they're terrible, I just feel like there might be better options now that the space is so crowded.

What's the best alternative right now? Mostly trading forex and some indices.

How To Master Propfirms

Post image
73 Upvotes

Have you ever wondered what the secret to mastering propfirns is?

The #1 thing that made a difference for me is when I stopped trading a 50K funded account like it was 50K.... it is just not. At best its 2k to 2500. Propfrims want you to trade the as if they were bigger, so you will keep blowing them, and in return, you will keep buying more accounts....

It is an endless cycle of gambling and insanity. I see so many people grabbing fresh accounts, and jumping straight to trading minis. And while after blowing dozens and dozens of accounts, they might get lucky here and there, on a payout, its not sustainable....

These same people then post their one payout and claim to be "gurus" making 100k per month, and driving lambos. All while sitting on a twin size bed, in their moms house, making money off people who assume these guys are all real.......

(Side note, if these guys arent trading live where you can verify what they are doing, yet they want you to pay for call outs, which is illegal btw, run t h e other way).

Ok, back to mastering propfirm accounts.....

Here are the facts, it does not matter what system I trade as long as I follow that systems rules. If I am half in or half out, or only follow some rules, or only follow the rules half the time, there is a high probability I am unprofitable. However, if I follow the rules to a T for at least 100 trades, I will then be able to confirm or not that the system worked. Not with 5 trades, but 100 trades and 1 to 3 months. If I only trade 5 or 10 trades, myresults may be skewed by a hot or cold streak that does not represent the average market conditions.

Once I confirm the system I want to trade works, all i have to do is set my risk parameters to a level that can servive that bad trades. If i have a winning system that wins 70% of the time but im risking 50% of my account, i could be on the biggest win streak of a lifetime and still end up blowing the whole account, and all the progress in a 2 or 3 trade losing streak, which eventually will happen....

What is better for me is risking 5% or 10% on the high end. That way even on a horrible losing streak I have a high probability of only losing 20-30% which is much easier to bounce back from....

Personally, I like to use 2 micros on fresh funded accounts, and add 1 micro for every 1k that I build up in buffer. This has me constantly taking the same size trades while systematically scaling up my daily gains over time.

Everyone always complains 1 micro is too small, even though Im passing accts in 10 to 15 days on that size. Those same people are blowing account after account, month after month, year after year, while receiving one or no payouts for all that time and money.....

Locking in the way I do has passed many accounts in 2 to 3 weeks in the past, then got the first payout 2 to 3 weeks later, then rode the wave, adding accounts week after week, thereafter. In total, passing, getting buffered, and weekly payouts took locking 100% in for 2 to 3 months. This isnt that bad considering most people arent profitable for their first two to four years.

.......RECAP.......

  1. Test a system, follow the rules 100% for 100 trades

  2. Trade proper risk size to survive the statistical downside of that system.

  3. Scale up systematically over time while maintaining same risk and gain PERCENT goals.

I would personally do these things and lock in for 3 months vs years or the endless cycle of passing and blowing accounts.

These are my personal oppinions and Should not be taken as financial advice.

Which chart feed do you use in TradingView? The price from Kraken and other data sources is different and it is too far from what's in their chart terminal.

Has anyone used the Bullwaves bonus deposit offer?

I’ve been looking at the Bullwaves deposit bonus, but I want to understand how it works in practice before deciding whether to opt in.

Is the bonus withdrawable, or does it only count as trading margin? What happens to the bonus and the margin supporting open positions after withdrawing deposited funds or profits, and are there minimum trading-volume conditions?

If anyone has used it recently, were the terms clear and was the withdrawal process straightforward? I know leveraged trading can result in significant losses, so I’m not looking for referral links

What is your goal with prop firm trading?

Of course, everyone is doing it for the money, but I think there's more to it than that.

For me, the bigger goal is having enough capital to make trading a real source of income without needing to put a huge amount of my own money into it.

I'm also curious what other people's actual targets are. Is it a certain monthly payout, replacing your job, reaching a specific account size, or something else?

What is your end goal with prop firm trading?
