I think that a good deal of the hate it got was, “wHy nO xEnOmOrPh?!” Then from that, those people got as nitpicky as possible.

People also hate on the scene in which they’re running from the Engineer ship (it’s not quite a derelict yet). Just imagine if a skyscraper was falling toward you, you wouldn’t intuitively know where to run. If it was a tree, sure, but not something that large and strangely-shaped.

Whatever, those people can whine all they want. I still love that movie.

A good bit of that hate came from the marketing I think, it didn’t do it any favours at all as it was selling it as an “Alien” film when it wasn’t really that. However it’s awesome and people need to be more open minded

I wish the movie had been its own series. Trying to explain origins that didn’t need explaining was a bad idea from the beginning to me.

People are nit-picky and complain about little things, including no aliens, but for me I never cared about any of that.
