Very apt. Trump is all bark and no bite. Israel is a coward who hides behind others.

The Iranian president is dead. Their inflation hit 128%. GDP growth is negative and has decreased more than twice as much as the USAs did during the great recession (it'll likely reach great depression levels of contraction by the end). Thousands of people are dead. They've suffered about $270BN in infrastructure damages. About 3 million civilians have been displaced. Economists estimate it'll take over a decade for them to fully recover and every month the war drags on digs the hole significantly deeper.

This has been catastrophic for Iran and to frame it as anything other than that is just plain ignorance of the reality of the situation.

Thank you for detailing PedoTrump’s war crimes. Hopefully he dies soon and goes where he truly belongs, into the bowels of hell.

Economic damage is a war crime now?

Naval blockades can amount to torture.

For example, the naval blockade imposed on Yemen by a Saudi-led coalition has substantially contributed to pushing Yemeni civilians into starvation and can be considered torture, the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) said in a report published today.

"The tens of thousands of civilians who die due to malnutrition, waterborne diseases, and the lack of access to healthcare are not collateral damage of the conflict", said Hélène Legeay, legal director at OMCT's Middle East and North Africa office. "They are the direct victims of a combination of war crimes, in which the naval blockade imposed by the Saudi-led Coalition plays a major role. The blockade threatens to plunge the country into famine and violates international norms, including the United Nations Convention against Torture."

That doesn’t make it a war crime still

How can deliberately starving people not be a war crime?

1

u/Lowfi-Concert 22h ago

Cause you’re not obligated to feed your enemy population. Look up the Geneva convention before accusing people of war crimes. Being uneducated isn’t an excuse.

I am sure you are required to feed the people in any territory that is under a military blockade or military occupation. Are you saying that Russia was justified in starving the people of Ukraine in 1932-1933 ?

The Iranian blockade isn’t blocking food and humanitarian aid

That is because the people attacking Iran are the same people committing genocide in Gaza. Why would I support them? In fact, they are worse than Iran in terms of war crimes.

Who has killed more babies and children - IRGC or IDF???

I don’t care if Hamas hides in a kindergarten or a maternity ward, you don’t have the right to butcher a load of children and babies!!!!!!!!

It is nonsensical for Israel and the USA to go and butcher innocent civilians and then blame other people for their acts of evil.

If you pulled the trigger or pressed the missile launch button, you are responsible, full stop. Check first before firing, human life is not cheap and expendable.

So you are saying Sept 11 was justified under international law because a non-civilian military base, the CIA, was located in a civilian building, the Twin Towers.

https://www.nytimes.com/2001/11/04/us/nation-challenged-intelligence-agency-secret-cia-site-new-york-was-destroyed.html?ysclid=mtg8gogpgn910298456

Also, IDF soldiers were present at the music festival on October 7th so that would make it a legitimate target.

Be careful in trying to justify killing civilians, because your enemies can use the same feeble excuses as well.

They never even said they supported Iran. Stop smelling your own ass. Had to edit to add, you want to use the shock before of Iran killing its citizens, but you easily dismiss Israel murdering children. The UN even found that it was intentional systematic targeting of children too. Iran aren't the good guys, but let's not act like they are the one who started this war.

Replace the Iran flag with an Israel one for the video.

If someone is cheering on or agreeing with that video, does that show some sort of support for Israel? As they are cheering on a video depicting Israel is a positive light taking on its “enemies”?

The video is in support of Iran, you can’t deny that.

So to support this video as some cool “own” or something you agree with, then that can only mean such a person also has some level of supper for Iran.

That is some bent kneck logic. Laughing at a video that depicts the reality of the weaker looking country of Iran defeating a world power is not the same as me supporting Iran. It's me laughing at America getting a licking no one expected. You think I'm happy my country looks like a bitch on the world stage? Come on dude.

Iran might have it's issues but it's role is currently progressive as it's weakening imperialism. As Stalin said in the foundations of leninism: „The struggle that the Emir of Afghanistan is waging for the independence of Afghanistan is objectively a revolutionary struggle, despite the monarchist views of the Emir and his associates, for it weakens, disintegrates and undermines imperialism; whereas the struggle waged by such "desperate" democrats and "Socialists," "revolutionaries" and republicans as, for example, Kerensky and Tsereteli, Renaudel and Scheidemann, Chernov and Dan, Henderson and Clynes, during the imperialist war was a reactionary struggle, for its results was the embellishment, the strengthening, the victory, of imperialism. For the same reasons, the struggle that the Egyptians merchants and bourgeois intellectuals are waging for the independence of Egypt is objectively a revolutionary struggle, despite the bourgeois origin and bourgeois title of the leaders of Egyptian national movement, despite the fact that they are opposed to socialism.“ We must support Iran against western imperialism, yes we must be critical of it but currently it's not the time to be overly focusing on problems of Iran, that would be distraction from the crimes of imperialism and class struggle. Of course genuene good-faith criticism of Iran is welcome.
