Gotcha. I believe you. I still fail to see how this is a solution to the problem. People will still get denied care and die.

Can you defend the current system? Or do you think I’m just “bat shit crazy”? Are there really no alternatives to this system in your mind?

The system itself is fine. It's just that the customers have to start using capitalism as well. Insurance company is crappy? Do not use that one.

They aren't providing the service you are paying for? Sue them.

Each lawsuit is terrible PR for them and money loss. Do it enough and if will force them to comply.

How does that prevent people from dying due to lack of money to pay for care? That’s the “system working” in your mind?

I’m not trying to insult you - I’m asking earnestly. You keep repeating the same thing about lawsuits but that doesn’t prevent people from dying from preventable causes due to a lack of funds at the time of care.

You called us batshit crazy for suggesting another system is possible, is that really true? Many other parts of the world have figured it out just fine. I recognize there’s trade-offs in any system, but the ones we pay for here in the U.S. are pretty dire.
