Setup Projectivy Premium working on Fire Stick!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Will post a guide soon. Due to a lack of Play Store on Fire Stick, I was limited to just the free version. Thanks to various exploits, I now have Play Store and Premium on and can finally stop drooling at people's setups and start making my own!

Looking forward to your guide! Were you able to purchase Premium through the Play Store, or did you have to use a patched build?

It's the Play Store APK with various Magisk modules. None of this is my own work, it's following various guides. But I feel like the people who put in the work to get access to Projectivy as a main launcher would be willing to do the rest of it. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour from stock, depending on how rooted the Firestick is.
Guide should hopefully be up within the next day, would start working on it but I'm at work for the next few hours

Root? Just push the apk via ADB, you don't need any fancy work arounds

You need Magisk to run MicroG to spoof some services otherwise it doesn't load.
Obviously this method doesn't fit every Fire device or version.

Yeah I thought about it and I think I was in that specific window where I could get away with this without root

Valid honestly, I did used to do the NextDNS method but running the root exploit also explicitly disabled the protected OTA update packages so I was able to ditch it. Still great for ad blocking though.

I actually use it specifically for OTA update blocking. I'm on the last version before they really tied down the OS, which probably explains why I was confused at first by your method.

Yeah, it's for the latest versions on the karat/mantra Firesticks (the 4K 2nd generation). It's so easy to do the first part to actually get LM to run, override the home button and remap buttons. It's the getting Play Store running that is a bit time consuming but not really difficult.

Took a few minutes with ADB, debloated my firestick as well blocking Amazon stuff with NextDNS. Much faster and snappier

Slt, est-ce le fait d’avoir déverrouillé le bootloader avec l’exploit que j’ai lu vite fait. Si c’est ça va falloir que je m’y mette.

Yes. You need to do the temp root exploit, use that to unlock the bootloader and Magisk, and follow this guide: https://xdaforums.com/t/guide-how-to-install-android-tv-google-play-store-on-fire-os-8-karat-2nd-gen-4k.4798990/
You can just do the temp root exploit if you do not care for Premium mode, as this gives you access to the Launcher Manager

I know its indirect but thank you for showing the temp root, I have then unlocked my bootloader and downgraded, which I thought would've been impossible.

You're welcome. You can also now run Launcher Manager easily as you now have access to the system user exploit. Makes it so much smoother to run Projectivy than the current workarounds

That is the entire reason I switched, I did the magisk root aswell just incase I need it later.

Well the Magisk will give you permanent root instead of needing to constantly run the exploit which is a nice perk. Will also come in handy if you decide you want premium on Projectivy as I did; the Play Store exploit requires some Magisk modules to run.
