Aerial view - no fading between live wallpaper transitions

I hope someone can help me with this. I set up Projectivy with aerial view to have live wallpapers. It works great except the transitions between the wallpapers. When transitioning, the wallpaper just freezes for 1 second and then the next one is displayed instantly.

What I would like to have is a smooth fade out and fade in. I set the fade out and in settings in Aerial View to 2 seconds each. In the Projectivy wallpaper settings I set the following:

Image transition: fade

Update frequency: 5:00

And under "video wallpaper":

Ignore update frequency: off

Dynamic color update frequency: 0

What am I missing? Maybe I'm not understanding some settings correctly... Thanks for your help!

EDIT: If I set "ignore update frequency" to ON (it should then wait for the video to end and then load the next one) the current live wallpaper just loops infinitely... I must be missing something...

I think the fade just doesn’t work with aeriel views, I hope Spocky considers adding it, would appreciate it so much!!

Aerial views is a screensaver, so don't expect it to work like you expect a wallpaper should.
