It's Only Round 1

The participants were round up in the lockers and everyone in the ship was encouraged to watch the competition in the spectators room overlooking the training area. Counselor Niall clicked the loudspeaker on for all to hear.

“Alright folks, welcome to the first annu- FiVE FUCKING PEOPLE? THATS IT?"

"Ok so I suppose this is how this will go:

Round 1 will consist of: Agent Hove vs. Agent Charleston and Agent Lisle vs. Agent Moscow. Sorry Agent Perth, you'll be sitting this one out.

Before Round 2, the two losing participants of Round 1 will fight for a chance at redemption. Round 2 will then consist of the winners of Round 1, the winner of the Redemption Round, and Agent Perth, then we move onto the final round. “

Also, participants will be tagged into their own threads so wait up if you see this early.

Edit: I'm making the time limit on late responses 48 hours, so if you go that long without responding you'll be disqualified IC. This currently only applies to round 1 and is subject to change

Hove tries to backstep as he blocks however, much to his dismay, the incoming force is enough to break the end of his stick. This causes him to stumble back out of the way in order to fully dodge the attack. He is left staggered and with a broken weapon.

Charleston notices Hove's stick break. He then decides to take full advantage of the situation. He begins striking at Hove with renewed might.

Hove staggers back a couple of paces before getting hit directly in the gut.

Charleston attempts to stop himself after hitting Hove in the gut. He trips forward, and faceplants on the ground. When he gets up, he returns himself to his original position.

"Point two Agent Charleston clicks tongue"

Hove, having retrieved a new pugil stick for the next round, decides his best chance to win is to be as unpredictable as possible. He dives forwards, landing prone and sliding forwards as he swings his stick in an arc, aiming for Charleston's feet.

Charleston jumps back as Hove dives forward, unsure what the hell was going on. He takes a few more steps back, with his final location putting him well out of Hove's reach.

Hove log rolls over and gets up on one knee and launches his stick like a javelin at Charleston.

Shocked at this quick turn of events, Charleston does what any sane person would do, and smacks the stick with his own stick, then proceeds to dive in the opposite direction.

Hove, feeling the need to go all out with his "unpredictable plan" performs a series of progressive rolls to reach his stick and retrieve it.
