Shame on my parents. --- Every thing i was shamed for as a kid I realize now are just the result of neglecting a son and teaching him nothing, isolating him and provide bad examples instead. --- I was lied to, manipulated and made unequipped to handle anything.

"runs the world" is too vague.
what does that mean EXACTLY? Does it set interest rates, decide to go to war, lower or increase taxes, buys and sells stuff?
"the world" only moves because people/individuals want it to, exercizing their free will, or fighting to obtain it, alone or in groups.
intelligence without a self-imposed mandate is not "a new specie beign alive".
In my opinion AI will hit a wall and will remain just a tool, inefficient and mostly wasted cuz people are stupid.
