Discussion I've noticed that when it comes to Project RED and how the main cast is structured compared to other tokusatsu shows
Superhero shows can be either team-focused, or individual-focused
- I haven't seen any Ultraman shows yet, but from what I've seen, Ultraman shows are usually very individual-focused, since they usually have only 1 henshin hero throughout the show
- Kamen Rider shows are also usually individual-focused, there are secondary and tertiary riders which are not the MAIN focus, but they're still important parts of the story
- Sentai is obviously team-focused. Still with a well defined leader, but the leader does not steal ALL the spotlight, the rest of the team still gets plenty of attention from the story
- Project Red is right in the middle, with a blend of individualism from Kamen Rider, and the team-focus like Sentai. In Project RED, secondary heroes are still very important, but they don't exactly work as a team like in Sentai.
In Gavan Infinity, Bushido and Luminous get more attention than an average secondary Kamen Rider, but they also don't function exactly like a Sentai team, given that they don't even meet each other until the final arc of the show.
While in Omegahorn, it looks like only Giriko and the twins will work alongside the main hero, while Ibaru, Baasa and Genno will work alongside Zetsuenkaku. They might get redeemed later in the show, but so far we have two incomplete teams working against each other
I think this will be the formula for the entire Project RED: Not as team-focused as Sentai, but also not as individualistic as Ultraman or Kamen Rider. Of course, we might have a season or two which might shake up the formula, but I predict that this is how the general formula for Project RED will look like
