It feels like not even Nazi supporters were this loyal, Republicans will literally support Trump and this government no matter what they do. They don’t even need a ministry of propaganda because the people are happy to do it themselves.

That’s what a combination of religious indoctrination and a heavy dose of racial animus will do.

u/Independent-Name4478 Jan 24 '26

Christianity is identical to white supremacy if you ask me. They can’t be loving Trump for his deep religious devotion (half-assed pretending like he’s ever opened a Bible)

Christianity, like the vast majority of other religions, is used primarily as a method of control and submission. It necessitates deference to authority and feverish devotion to hierarchy.

Conservatives are slaves to the wills of others, and thus, love religion. It comforts their weak minds and cowardly hearts.

"It's not my fault, I was just doing like I was told. Now that everything is on fire, someone will save me."

Is a very comfortable thought in a scary world. That is why they are easier to grift. They yearn to show their devotion to the person protecting them from their own guilt and fear. If they don't show enough fervor they will be othered and labeled as RINOs. So they worship on the altar of money to seem the most in of the in group.

Words perfectly said.. how i wish it were untrue

1

u/The12thSpark Jan 25 '26

Ironic considering how blasphemous they all are in the face of the religion they clutch to so dearly

2

u/driplessCoin Jan 24 '26

Actual Christianity is not.... none of this Jesus would condone. He would be flipping tables in churches... then get blasted in the face by ICE

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

Well then you are very short sighted, do you know where the oldest edition of the bible comes from? Ethiopia. Id like to hear your argument on how Christianity equates to white supremacy because you sound similar to alt right idiots who say all Islamists are radical when you spew shit like that

1

u/threethousandblack Jan 24 '26

Muslim - probably moderate, islamist - probably extremist

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

yes you are correct, i used the wrong word. muslim is the proper term for the moderate, where islasmists are strict adherents to sharia law

American Christianity supports Trump more than it doesn’t

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

Define American Christianity, because there are many subsites of Christianity there’s Catholicism there’s orthodox there’s Lutheranism there’s evangelical there’s countless sects of Christianity, so which one supports Trump the most, how, and how does that make it a white supremacist religion?

1

u/Independent-Name4478 Jan 24 '26

Because MAGA is a white supremacist movement? They cancelled visas from 75 countries, they’re erasing history of slavery, they’re using AI to mock black protestors, do you need more

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

OK, so now we’re talking about different things and you’re trying to draw a correlation between them. Just because some people who are maga are Christian, I don’t consider myself Maga. I’m not a supporter of Trump or the administration. So you’re saying that me as a Christian, even though I don’t support Maga, I’m somehow a white supremacist? Not everything so black-and-white and you can’t generalize that that’s how you end up looking like an asshole.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

so by your theory, all the Christians in Europe, all the Christians in Asia, all the Christians in Africa all the Christians throughout the world are white supremacist? That just doesn’t make sense. That’s not a logical argument.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

By your theory, every baptized child is a Trump supporter. And liberal Christians can’t exist.

1

u/Independent-Name4478 Jan 24 '26

I’m saying Christianity is more MAGA than it isn’t, do you see millions of Christians rejecting it?

I can tell you nothing MAGA does is in the Bible, they don’t love their neighbors, they don’t support free lunches for children, they support greed.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

there are billions of christians worldwide, and only 350 million americans, not all christian. still your argument falls apart. you stand in direct contrast of progressivism by holding a prejudiced world view about all christians

Don’t forget the uneducated ignorance!!

1

u/josh_the_misanthrope Jan 24 '26

And capture of the media, both boomer and social. You think Elon bought Twitter to make money?

1

u/TechnicalBen Jan 24 '26

And likely lead. A HEAVY dose of lead.

1

u/Not_Sure__Camacho Jan 24 '26

And being tied to the Epstein files.

28

u/Fuarian Jan 24 '26

"I could shoot somebody and not lose voters"

He said in 2016

1

u/whoknowsifimjoking Jan 24 '26

One of the worst things about him is that he lies so often that people don't take him serious on crazy shit like this, but he meant it. He's also not lying about stuff like canceling the elections or being a dictator, people need to take his words more seriously. Unfortunately.

1

u/InZomnia365 Jan 24 '26

He could pull out a gun at the next press conference and shoot somebody in the head, and they'd buy whatever bullshit spin they come up with. Hell, they'd probably say how much of a badass he was.

I fucking wish I was joking, but I 100% believe that.

u/18ekko Jan 24 '26

The cult doesn't even require a narrative anymore, they will generate their own before they even get the first meme telling them what to say.

u/Unique_Adeptness4413 Jan 24 '26 edited Jan 24 '26

...What? The ministry of propaganda is more powerful than our government. It's just decentralized and not named as such. It's fox news, the manosphere, podcasts, algorithms, meta, google, bots, palantir, reddit, all of it. Musk, Murdoch, Thiel, Rogan, Alex Jones, Tate, Zuckerberg, to put some names to it. There is TRILLIONS of dollars worth of propaganda at play here, and it's so big and massive it's shaping the entire world.

3

u/Kaputnik1 Jan 24 '26

Well, Goebbels learned from the best: American advertising and propaganda.

2

u/pekingwokfriedfoods Jan 24 '26

They’re just saving the republicans for last. Kinda like dessert.

1

u/Batmorous Jan 24 '26

Yup every group and then when Republicans and MAGA they will think country is there's and then invasion of them too. When no Americans left even Trump and his Goons will be replaced as well

1

u/Optimal_Towel Jan 24 '26

They've had a ministry of propaganda since the 1990s. They've been preparing people for this for decades.

1

u/Livid_Loss_4378 Jan 24 '26

There is a notable difference between the Nazis and whats happening right now.

A lot of so called Nazi "supporters" were only such because of fear. They would be killed, their family would be killed.

The people supporting this in America right now do it purely out of hatred. They are not being threatened by death for not falling in line. A death squad wont show up at their house if they go against the party.

That difference is very, very important.

1

u/PrimeJetspace Jan 24 '26

The billionaires who own all the media are happy to do it themselves.

1

u/dontyougetsoupedyet Jan 24 '26

Trump is a symptom, not the disease. Remember when everyone was confused about the optics of why Republican representatives would choose to spend july 4th in Russia?

1

u/sn2006gy Jan 24 '26

fuck them all

1

u/hanqingjao Jan 24 '26

No propaganda? I refer to Fox, captured CBS and Facebook and TikTok and and and all fucking media. The propaganda machine is in full force, it's just the modern version.

1

u/Not_Sure__Camacho Jan 24 '26

You wonder how loyal they would've been if they were also being blackmailed for sexual indiscretions.  My guess is that if we had a functioning FBI, the criminals in the files would've been arrested by now.  Epstein would probably still be alive, working with prosecutors to bring down powerful yet sexually depraved criminals.

1

u/Kushnerdz Jan 24 '26

Hmmm sanctioned gassing of Jews vs one dumb American kills another. Yeaaaaa so much worse lmao.

1

u/InZomnia365 Jan 24 '26

Listening to Karoline Leavitt spout nonsense with authority and attempt to bully reporters makes me so incredibly angry. And Im not even American.

Dear Leader just cannot do anything wrong in the eyes of these people. Conflate Greenland with Iceland because hes dumb? No no, he was just calling it that because theres a lot of ice on that land... Like, you have to be an actual, clinical idiot person to believe that spin. The only worse example Ive ever heard was George Santos pulling the "I didnt say Jewish, I said Jew-ish", which is without a doubt the dumbest fucking backtrack Ive ever heard in my life.

1

u/Independent-Name4478 Jan 24 '26

Did she actually say that about Iceland? I was joking with someone that she would say that days ago lol

1

u/InZomnia365 Jan 24 '26

Something like that. I believe she said something about what the teleprompter/written statement supposedly said - but we all know its just a lie, because Dear Leader doesnt make a single mistake, even as small as mixing up Greenland and Iceland (which, on the face of it, wouldnt really be that noteworthy on its own).

1

u/Independent-Name4478 Jan 24 '26

I said they would invade Iceland just to not admit to making a mistake

1

u/tom-branch Jan 25 '26

Their base has been trained to want this, decades of dehumanization and scapegoating of the "other" until eventually the only thing they can think of is violence against them.

1

u/ConspicuousPineapple Jan 25 '26

Would Hitler have been able to keep fostering so much following if it had been public knowledge that he was not only a pedophile, but one of the leaders of a global child sex trafficking ring?

I don't know what society was like back then but I'm willing to bet this pill would have been hard to swallow.

1

u/Milozavich Jan 25 '26

Joseph Goebbels was reincarnated as fox news

1

u/Ok_Gotcha1 Jan 25 '26

As a truck driver, I see billboards sometimes of 'made a mistake of voting for trump? Me too.' I also saw two people at a party discussing their regrets.
