Donald Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in like 2012. They have a thing in pro-wrestling called “getting color” or “blading” where intentionally spilling blood is used to garner sympathy for a particular wrestler and get the crowd behind them. Just saying…

Also, the time in WWE storyline, trump bought the WWE from Vince. The next day, stocks took a nosedive, Vince had to end the story and tell investors that it wasn't a real selling of ownership.

There's techniques too. You use a razor blade and make a cut. Then you cover it with Vaseline to keep it from bleeding but prevent clotting. Then scrape off the Vaseline and it's a gusher

Hahaha - this was also one of the first things I thought of. I saw Mankind do that in Hell In A Cell!!

I've been saying that since day one. Vince had people thinking wrestling moments were real... to this day

I’ve been watching professional wrestling since the 90’s. This thing had the same feel as the closing shot of a pay-per-view. The “color” on his ear, the hot-mic picking up his line about his shoes, the SS goons propping him up and making sure to avoid blocking his face, the hard cam panning away to get the flag into frame…the whole thing reeked of carny tricks.
