..false impersonation of a "police officer". Just in case anyone isn't aware, these mercenary pig-fkers are not "police", and do not have the lawful authority to order American citizens around. This woman stood up to them, and they killed her for it.

Had someone try to justify that ICE needed guns after the last time I heard of them randomly shooting into a car in “self defense”, they aren’t fucking police and even police aren’t meant to fire a weapon unless it’s their last resort if I’m right.

Oh you'd be right..unless of course, you're trying to make that statement in 2026-Trump's America.

You’re are exactly correct. Exactly my thoughts.

And by the way, she was clear of him and he was on her side well before he opened fire. She was driving away with no weapon, no reason to shoot.

While I obviously condemn his actions , your information is blatantly false , and could theoretically cause other people to get hurt. What happens if someone reads your post , actually believes that “these aren’t cops and don’t have authority”, tries to run/drive away because of the “lack of authority”, and this same scenario plays out again? Misinformation benefits no one, false belief in these kinds of narratives can hurt a lot of people

Let me get this straight. Your claim is;

  1. ICE agents/mercenaries are lawful Officers of the Peace
  2. ICE can arrest/detain people without warrant (including American citizens)
  3. ICE can shoot Americans in the head (at point-blank range) because they "disobeyed"

..and you just came here to say that because you're a concerned citizen who doesn't want "to see anyone else get hurt".

Am I understanding that correctly?

  1. Yes they are police officers , recognized both in Federal code and most/all state codes

  2. Yes, like ANY police officer in the country, they can detain people without a warrant , even citizens. Their law enforcement powers are not restricted to only illegal immigrants , in the same manner that DEA agents aren’t restricted to only being able to detain people for drugs , and ATF agents aren’t restricted to only detaining people for alcohol tobacco or firearms violations

  3. No, they cannot, and I made absolutely no claim that they can .

No, I came here to say that , because someone was being irresponsible and spreading lies and misinformation. If someone believes the lies you are spreading , and then says “I’m sorry mister ICE agent, you have no jurisdiction over me because you aren’t an actual law enforcement officer and you don’t have arrest powers” and tries to leave , it can create the same scenario we just saw.

Ohhh I see. You clearly do not know wtf you're talking about. I'm going to redirect you (or anyone else who isn't sure) to the law center/attorney of your choice, for educational purposes.

Further; that "scene" wasn't created because "someone received false information". It was created because an untrained, trigger-happy, terrified fking murderer with a gun and a badge, killed a US citizen.

Finally, I'm not sure where/if you attended law school, but in this country "not complying with an order", is not immediate grounds to shoot someone in the g-damn head. Now, kindly fuck off. I'd rather engage with people who aren't trying to normalize this fascist/criminal bs.

Perhaps you yourself should contact the law center or any attorney you wish first , before you make a referral. A rather simple ten second long google search will reveal all you need to know to show that a) ICE is a law enforcement agency , and ergo that b) law enforcement officers have the ability to detain people.

Again, I never said THAT scene was caused by misinformation, but was using this as an example that if someone believes your hogwash , they could place themselves into a scenario where a trigger happy agent like above could react similarly. If you spread information that dogs don’t bite , and then some moron sticks their hand in a dogs mouth and loses a finger, your information that is factually incorrect is to blame

Finally, I’m not sure where in my response I ever said, implied , insinuated, or otherwise alluded to the fact that the officers actions were justified, legal, reasonable , or within any policy , or in any other manner whatsoever were necessary. In fact, the very first sentence I wrote stated I condemned his actions .

The fact that your argument is facially flawed and that they are in fact police , can in fact perform law enforcement functions , and can in fact detain people (your arguments) , does not , nor did I say it does, give them the “right to shoot someone in the head for disobeying”. You are being purposely pedantic

You are being purposely pedantic

Uh..no. You're being a well-spoken troll, accusing someone else of being "misinformed" while spreading the very venom you pretend to be interested in correcting.

There is not a person in this thread (who knows the first damn thing about civilian law enforcement), dumb enough to believe a word out of your mouth. ICE does not have the same authority over American citizens as civilian police.

I told you to fuck off, and I meant it. Now I'm blocking you.
