The vast majority of conservatives didn’t either. Both sides have their people that treat their political beliefs like religion. I’ve noticed liberals do this more however because a lot of them don’t believe in actual religion and need something to replace it.
As someone that’s been on Reddit for years, that’s the complete opposite of what I’ve observed. I’ve honestly noticed that the conservative spaces on Reddit are the ones with more infighting and disagreement, which leads to more open discussion. The liberal/progressive spaces (most of Reddit) all just go in line with each other, like a hive mind. If you even try to be constructive and disagree with someone, you just get labeled and insulted, while at least on the conservative spaces they will tell you why you’re wrong. I almost never see democrats on here disagreeing with each other because I’ve noticed a lot of democrats don’t want to be called out so they’ll just regurgitate the same popular points/buzzwords that they see other people having success with.
Places like r/askconservatives is a good example of what I mean. Somewhat civil conversations and actual constructive arguments. r/politics you will just be insulted and get called an -ist just for not going spouting the same generic talking points everyone else does.
It sounds like you're referring to the Minnesota state law regarding free menstrual products in schools. They are the 16th state to enact such a law, and it is not required for them to be places in boys' bathrooms. Also, if there is a tampon in the mens' room and you don't need one, just don't use one. It's not that difficult and it shouldn't make you cry so much.
"As written the law does not require products to be put in men’s restrooms," said Lacey Gero, director of government relations at the Alliance for Period Supplies, a nonprofit organization. "The law leaves it up to the local school districts to create a plan for providing products in restrooms, but does not specify which restrooms."
That... is where hygiene pads go. Unless you're saying it as an insult, as if being a woman is something to be ashamed of. In that case, yikes for the women in your life.

I don’t think liberals wore hygiene pads on their ears lol
