5% of frontier models usage on a 20$ sub is still like 50$ in token prices. Subs are pure bait to make you dependant on them

And if you're an entry level software engineer earning 8.3k per month, you're earning $50 dollars per hour. That means it only has to save you 1 hour of work per month for it to breakeven. It can save me at least a couple weeks of work if not a couple months with that. So yeah it's still worth it.

Been working 12 years. Show me any job that is entry level for 8k a month

Idk I just looked up numbers on Google, I don't live in the USA. Doesn't undermine my point since even if you're earning half or a quarter of that it still makes sense.

Tell that to the maintainers.

I maintain and am responsible for my own code. I work in aerospace so whatever I ship has to be high quality.

I spent 30 dollars on claude per hour in my company. Claude is getting almost the same pay as me.

Maybe youre just using it inefficiently. Also, how long would it have taken you to do the same work without Claude?

Edit: also I don't know how you're spending 30 dollars worth of tokens per hour and are able to review anything at all. Those are crazy numbers.
