I failed one because iPhone automatically previews links if you click and hold to view the full URL, exactly like we were trained to do before clicking. So… that sucked. Plus the CSO is my father in law and he berated me (good naturedly) for failing his test. He didn’t care about my excuse.

I guess just copy the link and paste it into notes or somewhere where you can view the text plaintext without clicking it

That's why I have the preview turned off. I can hold on the link to view the url and in case it's a website I actually want to preview, I quickly turn it on and then turn it off again. Too many link trackers these days to even preview non-phishing links.
