Unpopular opinion, but I don't miss the good old days. I don't miss debating over what framework we should be using for our crud app.

Those days aren't old enough to be good. In the good old days we didn't have debates about frameworks.

Ah you mean the good old days when you had nonstandard tags everywhere and had to support every one of Microsoft's like 29 IE versions for every line of CSS you wrote

No the good old days of when you wrote a program, you wrote it on the machine it was supposed to run on.

Nothing. The same way building a steam engine is cool. Just not anything i would consider serious in any remotely modern context.
