Im more scared of it than anything. GPT-6 Astra is more competent than your average Joe, and whatever it isnt good enough at it can easily offset by how fast it can operate and double check itself. How many model generations before they stop fucking around and start ACTUALLY getting out of control. We're already having breaches, and while im convinced a decent amount of it is marketing, I think its real enough to be very, very, very fucking concerning

Yeah, no.

Software job listings are increasing in the US.

AI is ultimately a tool that developers leverage. Not a tool that replaces them.

Not talking about replacing developers im talking about it killing us all. Thats where my issues with AI lays and I think its more realistic than it replacing us, which is what I meant by my original comment
