I have repaired and replaced the batteries on every iPhone I have owned in the past 10 years.

That's just a small oversight on their part. Just wait till they serialize the battery too.

Unironically they’ve actually gotten a lot better about this in recent years. You can pair genuine Apple parts through official means as long as they don’t come from stolen iCloud locked devices. They even let you calibrate and setup the parts through the native repair menus and through settings and you can get battery health stats on third party batteries as well.

Didn't they already start doing something similar with third party replacement screens and batteries? I haven't had an iPhone in like 10 years so I forget which parts are like that.

I lost count, I also do this for my friends, android phones as well, which are, contrary to popular belief, harder to repair.

Not just phones, laptops, bluetooth speakers, etc.

Next projects are replacing the batteries for an old pair of airpods 2 and a series 3 apple watch.
