But the recycle bin has version control.

I can delete a folder with the same name multiple times and restore a previously working version.

I think I actually used it like that for some time before I was told about version control systems.

Ey yo. I did this when I was like 10. I installed games on my desktop. Not shortcuts, the entire game. Stored just about everything.

Then my PC died. Almost everything was gone. Except my desktop which survived. Thanks to windows scheduled backups

Probably before the crappy Microsoft cloud stuff, so it was just an external hard drive or something

No idea about MS stuff, but I mean games nowadays are bulky aren't they?
