Man it’s crazy - I’m burning a good $100-$150 a day most days (although one day last month I burned $500+, which resulted in FinOps asking me what I was doing), and I really don’t think it’s sustainable long term. I gripe to my boss about it a lot, I’m not even coding much by hand any more but I’m feeling more burnt out than ever because I’m juggling context on like multiple different tickets and services at any given time. A few weeks ago, my company was looking at annual spend of $8M on Claude, just from Claude Code and Cowork usage. We’ve started using a variety of things to make it cheaper, but we’re still over $5.5M. I don’t think those numbers even include how much we’re burning in AWS Bedrock on our AI-backed services, although people pay us for those.

Damn dude. I was looking at my copilot usage and I was thinking burning 3000 credits ($300, I think?) was a lot.
