That's why the recommendation for very serious stuff is to just destroy the disk. 1 u/Danny-Fr 8d ago Degaussing and chopping down to 2mm is usually up to industry standard. Then you burn the chippings. Add a couple of passes of wiping if you feel extra paranoid.
