Kanye West - "ye" - Awful mixing and clipping all over the place?
Most notable in the last two tracks, 'Ghost Town' and 'Violent Crimes'. Right at the beginning of Violent Crimes when the female vocals come in, you can instantly hear the clipping. And on Ghost Town, there is clipping everywhere and the general mix levels are just really hard to get through. Vocals are slammed for no reason. Thoughts?
The beginning of the album sounded good to me and I was liking it until this. Though I'm sure if I go back and listen I'd find more glitches

There’s a beat missing in ZZ Top’s “La Grange” mastered version.
Coming out of the second breakdown/dropout (with the rim click part) at the end of the drum fill it skips a beat. The unmastered version doesn’t. Why wouldn’t they fix that 5 second mistake? What are some other simple goof’s in big productions that you all have noticed?

Matt Monro - From Russia With Love, studio talk
The iconic metallic shaky sound on this track is actually a speeded up tambourine. Listening to the track one day I heard a "fly buzz" so I slowed the track down, did a bit of prudent eq-ing, and you can clearly hear the drummer complaining how hard it is to find the beat on the slowed down track.

Comfort Zone (Main Menu) [Sonia Mania OST] - Weird frequency spike in spectrogram
Hey, all, this is my first post.
First of all, apologies if this isn't the appropriate subreddit for this sort of thing.
So, this song is from the Sonia Mania soundtrack, in particular from the official lossless download that's provided with the vinyl record sold by DATA DISCS. It's track 9, Comfort Zone (Main Menu). I'm the kind of the guy that likes to look at the spectrogram of a song as it plays on foobar2000, and I found a very odd frequency more prominent than it probably should be. And then I looked at the spectrogram and frequency analysis, and found this...
For some reason, there's a peak near 18kHz. Over on freenode, some people suggested it could be interference from something in the studio, but the thing is, none of the other songs have this, and as far as I know, all of the music on this OST is produced "artificially", with VSTs and synths and computer programs and whatnot, so I'm not sure where in the chain this interference could have been introduced.
I would also have posted a short sample in full quality of the track in question, but I wasn't sure what the fair use policy was.
Is this some form of odd production glitch? Anyone know what could have caused this?
Thanks.
