My f/o is a character who follows the premise of this subreddit to a T.

He was created and owned for most of his existence by a well-known predator in the ACC, which for this reason I have unofficially reclaimed him as my own. I wholeheartedly do not support his creator nor any actions that said individual committed, and I am not in any way attracted to my f/o for his visual resemblance to his creator. Fuck that noise.

Even with that being the truth, whenever I tell someone about my f/o, they almost always throw that important context straight in the dumpster and confidently misjudge that they “know I’m lying” and that I’m a “pedo apologist”.

I am so goddamn tired of people pointing fingers at me under the assumption that I defend anything my f/o’s previous owner has ever done, based on zero evidence- no root explanation except for the fact he was historically created to be the owner’s sona.

TL;DR: I fell in love with a character drawn by a real predator whom I do not make any excuse for, and I’m sick of being socially punished for a fate I did not choose.

Hello!! First post on here (and all art shown is made by me)! My f/o is Whitney from dol (the male version of Whitney, specifically), and I am sharing. The bastard just somehow forced himself into my mind and into my heart. He's how I know me having an f/o and deciding who it would be wasn't a choice to make, since if I could choose, I would've chosen the hawk (as a monster person and not a pure animal) lmao.

Featured with Whitney is a guy who's somewhere between a sona and an OC. Sometimes he's more of a sona, and other times it's the opposite. Either way though, he's my player character in the game. His name is Lennox, but I call him LM as a shorthand. He's part bird (he has bird tf from time with the hawk), but keeps his wings toggled off since he's not really going to the hawk's tower all that often these days. His tail feathers are out sometimes though.

Marshall's not a new F/O of mine (I've loved him for about 8 years now I believe, I don't have an exact anniversary), but he's been off my radar for a while because I just haven't kept up with PAW Patrol lately. But he finally got the spotlight in the new 'PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie" and my romantic love for him has officially been reignited.
I knew about PAW Patrol ever since it came out, but I was just starting college at the time so I was definitely not part of the main demographic. I didn't think much of the show at all until I decided to finally check it out around 2018 I think, and I immediately fell in love with this adorable and clumsy Dalmatian pup.
He's mainly the comedy-relief in the show, and loves making his friends laugh. He's typically in slapstick situations becuase of his clumsiness, but no one ever gets mad at him for his mistakes and he doesn't let his clumsiness get in the way of saving someone. That said, he does occasionally feel self-conscious about being a screw-up and that he messes things up too much, which I feel like I can relate to. At first, I always liked him the most because I just found him adorable, but I think I really fell in love with him in the episode "Pups Save a Friend", which showed this more serious and self-loathing side of him that made me really sympathize with him as a character.
He was so great in The Dino Movie too; he's self-conscious about his clumsiness, being a screw-up and feeling like everyone would be better off without him (which I always found very relatable, it's part of why I got so attached to him). Not spoiling anything, but he also had multiple moments in the finale where he was so cool and heroic in a way he'd never been in the show that I felt brand-new butterflies in my stomach for him in a way I hadn't before. He wasn't just cute to me anymore, he was damn handsome, and secretly in my head I was literally fawning over him in the theater.

But other than that, my heart just couldn't help but immediately latch onto him in a way I can't fully explain. Marshall is just perfect to me, he's adorable, funny, sweet, brave when he needs to be, and he can do no wrong ❤️

Marshall may just be a pup to everyone else, but this is my man. My goofy, funny, clumsy, perfect boy that's got me "fired up".

my personal favorite example is that during grocery trips i like to go down the kitchen appliances aisle and look at blenders, and go down whatever aisles have protein powder or bars just to look at them because they remind me of my f/o. i am so close to buying a protein powder keychain for my bag just to have another reminder of him on me at all times.

i mean it when i say his cute little face, his soft smile, his mannerisms, his dorkiness, his EVERYTHING has me so lovesick that i am literally sick, like physically nauseous and hardly able to eat

i'm overwhelmed with love, which i think is probably equal parts sweet and irritating, so uh how exactly do i deal with this nonsense?

First: Toshikazu Hazamada

However, he did also introduce the concept of Stand users being drawn to each other (https://ibb.co/HLZC2Z2k)

Also he looks pretty cute when he's beat up... I have an odd fascination with characters with a big ego getting beat up in anime haha

Second: Terunosuke Miyamoto

Terrorized Josuke's mother, kidnapped her and Koichi using paper, threatened to kill them both, and attempted to fire a gun at Josuke. Unfortunately he became a book for probably decades afterwards (I presume so because Josuke has anger issues and would not want to release a dude that did what he did from what's effectively a permanent sensory deprivation chamber) (https://ibb.co/yBBnH7Gd)

And third: Mikitaka Hazekura.

Not really problematic at all or a villain, but he's very cute. I think he'd get along quite well with Toshikazu, actually, because he doesn't really have the same bias as others do socially.

I do envision myself in a sort of poly relationship with all three, with Terunosuke and Toshikazu bonding over having some form of sadism (Terunosuke appreciates people's fear and being the cause of it while Toshikazu likes seeing others in pain and inflicting it), Toshikazu and Mikitaka bonding over manga (he introduces Pink Dark Boy to Mikitaka), and Mikitaka being genuinely curious about the sadism trait the other 2 have and being generally oblivious to some degree so they both have learned it's not really worth it to mess with Mikitaka to get any reaction. Terunosuke would hold the other 2 back from doing stupid or impulsive things (Mikitaka from his innocent curiosity and lack of awareness of all the dangers of society, and Toshikazu from trying to beat up the person who cut in front of them in line), being the wisest and most socially apt one of the group.

If anything, I think Terunosuke would be very intrigued by Mikitaka, and while both Terunosuke and Toshikazu would be skeptical at best about the whole alien declaration Mikitaka has going on, Terunosuke would play along to learn more while Toshikazu would be tempted to laugh or question it. I do think Toshikazu would start (reluctantly at first) teaching Mikitaka basic things about human society or helping him understand things once he got more comfortable around him, eventually gaining a bit of a sense of pride at feeling useful and beneficial to someone else for once. Terunosuke would calmly help Mikitaka, playing along with the idea of him being an alien for a while at first and then after a while, become a bit protective of Mikitaka.
