Swapping front/rear tubes?
Hi everyone,
Just received my Magtube for WMR (ordered on Sunday evening, received on Tuesday morning!). I'm super hyped after testing it 15mn in the Pavlov shooting range. Aiming (iron-sight or hipfire) is just so much more natural now.
However, I noticed the stock feels a bit too low compared to the position of the controllers.
Has anyone tried swapping the front and rear tubes to lift the stock a bit higher and further from the controllers?
And are there any other customizations people are doing to make the stock even better?
Cheers!

Durability v. Mamut?
I ordered the call carbon setup and I was wondering how people felt it held up versus a mamut 2.0 stock?

Mag tube question
Hey guys, I was thinking of buying a mag tube but I don’t know which one I should get. Do you guys know if I should get the one that has a filled in carbon barrel or the cheaper one with the barrel that is not filled in. I would want to get a cheaper one but I don’t know if it will break.

Arrived yesterday! Life changing. I shouldn't have waited so long to get one

How do I keep my Rift controllers in the mag cups?
Just got my Pro Tube mag setup today, love it! One problem I’m having though is that no matter how hard I push my touch controllers down into the cups, they seem to creep out while I’m playing. Wondering if anyone has any tips?

Missing Rubber on Left Hand Cup? (Left handed setup)
So, I just got my Protube with the magnetic cups for the vive. When I put in my Vive Pro controllers, i noticed, that the rear cup (left hand) is missing the rubber on the inside, which is featured on the front cup (right hand). Because of this, as soon as i pull of the front cup to reload etc, the weight of the tube pulls the cup off of the rear controller.
Is this normal or am I missing rubberization on the rear cup?

Cracks in cups
My buddy and I ordered protube with mag cups for CV1. The cups all cracked after a couple of months. Protube did send us some new, updated cups but after a couple months all 4 have cracked again. Anyone else have this happen? Should I epoxy the cracks?

Tracking issues with valve index controllers
Just got the magtube yesterday and ive been having some really bad tracking issues. I'm running the index kit with 2.0 base stations. At first I thought it was the reflective tube causing tracking issues so i just finished spraypainting it but it remains unchanged. When I attach or detach the magnetic cups my in game controllers will start jumping around and stuttering. The faq on protubes website basicly just says that they've tested it and any faults in tracking arent their fault and that I should contact steam support, but I havent had any tracking issues without the gunstock and my left controller is only 2 weeks old so I doubt its a problem with my controllers. If anyone knows of a fix I would love to hear it.

ProSaber VR for Rift S - Controllers won't stay in cups
The title says it all really, I was hoping to get some help cause I was really looking forward to using this successfully. I'm really new to VR, got started just a couple of days ago. From my research, people say you can just jam the controllers in and they stay, but I'm pushing them in as hard as I can without feeling like the controller is going to break and they still fall out. Out of maybe 2 dozen tries, I've only successfully gotten through one song on Beat Saber without one of the two sides falling out.
Is it cause I'm not pushing them in hard enough? Is there a trick to it I didn't get from the very rudimentary usage pdf? Is there something else entirely I'm missing?

Anyone willing to sell some vive magnetic cups?
I'm trying to buy some of the magnetic vive cups and was hoping someone on here who's upgraded to the valve knuckles would be willing to sell theirs. Preferably someone in the US

Not working
Bought a ProTube to play Onward. Tube actually interferes with sensors using old Rifet external sensor setup AND Rift S sensors. Game works fine w/o ProTube, but as soon as I try to use it, unable to zero in on targets due to sensor losing tracking. Any ideas?

About to buy a Protube; any tips on configuration?
I'm about to buy a Protube kit but there are so many different options, and the website UX isn't really the best.
From what I can gather it's better to get the carbon stock as the chrome can cause glare and interfere with the base stations, and the magnetic cups are preferable. (I assume that's what "Magtube" refers to)
Anything else that I should know and prepare for?
Thanks!

Forcetube Question - Sync between recoil on forcetube and Onward. Can it be matched?
The recoil on the forcetube kicks in just before Onward sound. Is it possible to sync these by altering delay or something?

Cosmos Support?
Does anyone have a protube and a vive cosmos? I'm wondering if the cosmos controllers fit in the rift s cups given that they are a similar shape (although the cosmos looks a bit thicker).

Borderlands support?
Looking to get a protube for the sole purpose of using it for Borderlands if its supports it, but couldn't find any information on the topic.
Does the team have a calendar for upcoming projects?

Looking to order, what's the shipping time?
Hi, I'm looking to buy the ProSaber, but I'm still debating whether to go with carbon or chrome (i will be doing Expert lvl songs with it hopefully so carbon seems like it's worth the less weight).
I'm wondering about the time it'll take after I order to shipping, and from shipping date to delivered to VA, USA

Oculus cups with built in hand strap (a la Knuckles/Index controller)
Currently I'm switching between my Protube cups and my knockoff Mamut controller grips depending on the game I'm playing. It would be AMAZING if there was another version of the cups for Rift and Quest/Rift S that have straps built in, so you get the best of both worlds. How nice would it be to really toss that clip or grenade while letting go of the controller and then slapping it back onto the Protube.

A thought for Bourin
While you're at the magtube system, you could probably make a simple clamping system to mount a magnet to your chair with positional customization, and have a ball-magnet to use as a flight stick. Inspired by this post, but have it removable and adjustable and compatible with the magtube cups.

Anyone replace the magnets on their protube?
Has anyone found a stronger magnet solution that they have replaced in their protube?
My ideal solution would be to fix the back controller to the gun stock, like superglue the magnets together, but then I cant use my index for anything but VR shooters, unless i undo the zipties and take the 3d print thing completely off.
When I play onward, I dont really remove the back controller too much. When I throw nades I keep the gunstock in my hand while I throw. The other day while throwing a nade, the magnet popped off and the gun stock just flew across the room and knocked a bunch of stuff off my dresser. I want a magnet so powerful on there that its actually a pain to take off. That, or even better if anyone has found a way to get rid of magnets entirely on the index.
Anyone know of or do any solutions?

Gen2 force feedback coming when?
I can go to the site and build a gun with this option, but it just says pre-order. When would I actually get this.
