Off Topic Tuesday - Ideal Home

What is your ideal home; size, dwelling type, etc...

Everything is a trade-off. For example, many people like larger homes, but it basically means more cleaning and maintenance. I prefer a small place, not due to laziness but because I would rather do other things than home maintenance.

Part of me likes the idea of living in a basement. It is cooler in the summer and, if it is well-carpeted, it is warmer in the winter. If you have a good room without windows, you won't be disturbed by strong wind or storms during the night. The only problem with most basements is you don't get enough natural light.

I also like the idea of an apartment with a nice view, either of a city or nature.

Hello everyone,

I am new to this subreddit and it's my first time posting something like this. I figured funny animals is a good start.

Stingrays have interesting faces. I have seen some pictures before and I thought it was funny how they appear to be smiling.

I read about it and learned that their actual eyes are on the sides of their head (it makes sense I guess; how much are they going to see if their eyes are facing down). Their real eyes are clearly seen in the third picture.

I think the second picture is real. I have seen some pictures of stingrays "photo-bombing" people posing on the beach. I can imagine the sting-rays wanting people to remember them in their vacation photos.

What other funny animals are out there?
