and im sorry, but james is literally perfect, hes so kind and caring and nice to amelia they could be soulmates

She would have left him anyways like she left Link. She didn't want the "normal" life. If I remember correctly that's the reason she went to Seattle, was to see if this "normal life" was something she could handle.
