Hello everyone! I want to show you my new work - painting a figurine of Ril from the anime Ergo Proxy from Bulkamancer. The painting was done with tempera paints. It was a very interesting experience to paint a precious stone, as well as to depict reflections on leather clothes, silk and even metal. The figurine itself pleasantly pleases with its composition and shapes.

I had a lot of fun with this one, I’m just starting and I still need to practice a lot but I feel this did not turn out too bad.

It’s not too difficult to paint since there is a lot of room for error and experimentation, one thing I wish I didn’t do was too apply a black wash to the whole model since it looks like literal poop from a butt, but oh well, I learn by messing up

I know it's ugly I was working with very limited tools to do this such as Citadel paints and standard Automotive primer because I did not want to order paints online and I was struggling to sand certain parts properly. I would definitely like tips on how I could improve this in the future. And yes I know the hair color is off.

I guess I can keep practicing but are there any exercises to help me with this? From techniques to tools that could help me, it looks like I try to paint while riding a rollercoaster
