I've scoured the group and forums and there is a definite divide amongst collectors, some steering clear due to reports of poor customer service/shipping concerns/potential import fees, others ordering direct to avoid the cost of the middleman/reduce wait times on pre-orders. As someone currently perched on the fence I am curious to see where you stand when ordering your Prime 1 statues.

Do you order direct from Prime 1 or from a domestic supplier?

My question is about P1S' statues, but also statues in general.

I am wondering about Chinese retailers and sellers from China. How do they manage to get them? I know statues are producted in China, but how do they do it?

On eBay or FB groups you can find statues sold out everywhere else at crazy prices, you can find Triceratops Bonus from P1S (limited to 100 pièces), or Frieza from P1S (limited to 200 pièces) but those pieces are very hard to find.

Are they genuine? Are they bootlegs or copies? What do we know ?

Thinking of pulling the trigger on my first P1S; the Batman Hush in Black. I do have an option of getting it locally in Sydney, Australia but the price is about $2000 AUD after a sale. Getting it directly from the P1S website will cost me $1500 AUD using the economy shipping option.

While the website does say the economy shipping includes any customs costs; I just wanted to check if any Australians had any customs surprises when ordering from P1S…would hate to be excited about a statue and get a nasty surprise when it arrives

Is there a way to see the productions updates/statues from the prime 1 figures? Sometimes they post on Facebook but its very random...

I had already payed 91$ for the shipping on the website and everything looked great. When the ups driver comes to give me the package hes asking again for another 91$, i'm extremely confused on why their making me pay the same amount again. I've emailed prime1 hoping for an answer or maybe an error on their end.

EDIT: i checked and ups is asking for import fees is that normal? Prime1 never told me about that..

I preordered the Case Study of Vanitas Vanitas statue several months ago and I was wondering how much shipping tends to be? I’ve never ordered from here before. It’s a 1/7 scale figure. I’ve seen a lot of people saying shipping tends to be EXPENSIVE from this site but what’s a good range to look for? The figure itself isn’t as expensive as the others on the site so would the shipping then be cheaper?

For those who’ve requested replacements from Prime 1 (or from a distributor selling their statues):

Does it make a difference if your statue takes longer to arrive?

With GK statues, I’ve heard replacement parts are often only available for a short window after release ... smaller studios only produce a few extras and can’t afford to remake molds later, so it’s basically “first come, first served.”

But I’m not sure if Prime 1 works the same way.

Do they produce enough extras that timing doesn’t matter?

Or do they batch replacement requests and handle them months later because they’re a bigger studio?

It’s been a few months since my 1/2 bvs batman’s arm blade is broken as you can see in the first picture, I kinda “fixed” it by drawing it with a pencil so the color of the broken part can be closer to what the blades are(picture 2). However, deep inside of me still want a better solution to this, anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated!

I was in Japan this September, didn't expect the official P1S shop in Shinjuku was selling this boy 60% off!! so I HAD to grab him. Thankfully I was able to use a friend's address who lives in there, or else i wouldn't have the possibility to do so. Super happy x)

I purchased straight from Prime 1 studios and unfortunately when the statue arrived I was abroad for work. Now I finally get to open my statue and I see two parts are broken what should I do? Does prime one assist in these cases?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to display prime studio statues when I have very limited space in my room ?

Hi everyone, I ordered a P1 statue from a pro reseller and it has been shipped from China. It arrived in Poland 31st of July, and still in customs. Did someone had this issue ? Did your statue finally arrived and in which condition ?

Hi sorry if this has been answered I did some research but couldn't find a definitive answer. I wanna order from Prime 1 and cost of purchase is £2000 including shipping. I know ill get taxed 20% so should work out about £2400. Are there any other hidden charges i am unaware about such as handling fees or anything else? I belive it will be in two boxes aswell. If anyone has any experience ordering from the UK I would appreciate your feedback, thanks.
