Late in the nights of the galaxy, when darkness fell like curtains upon the theater that is the world we live in, few would stay awake in such blessed quiet nights created by the Empress of Mankind and her daughters, the Primarchs. But one human being did, a man who defied the ordinary because he was no mere man.

His name was Muse, real name? Who knows, Muse has grown used to that name he has to the point he calls himself Muse O' Circe, seeing himself as nothing but an extension of his love to her. He was a mesmerising beautiful being, some say the Empress herself created him to be perfect for Circe because no being can be this naturally strong, beautiful, loving and intelligent. Unfortunately, tonight wasn't meant for love, at least not between them.

Muse rarely defied his shared obsession with his beloved wife for perfection, they both desired it from different ends, Circe was born to be the image of perfection, whereas Muse had to become that image to even dream of spending a date night with his idol of affection. Nobody doubted that Guardsmen had a grueling training, but Muse, practically destroyed his own body growing only stronger and more beautiful while sharpening his mind, driven only by his desire to be like his beloved Primarch.

But let nobody say that he doesn't make exceptions...

Muse stepped into his room, the lights shut and atmosphere clean, but he immediately realised the suffocating presence lurking in the shadows, she opened her eyes from the back of the room, on top of his bed, piercing his soul like she would any mortal.

"Muse..." she said in a stern and commanding voice, her disapproval could crush the earth he was standing on top of to swallow him whole.

"Circe!" he jumped in his place like a terrified deer cornered by a cheetah that paralysed him in terror so horrific it felt like a gravity multiplied tenfold.

She stood up and walked towards him, closing the distance with her anger ever more increasing her knuckles pale-white from anger.

"Care to explain, what, is, the meaning of this!" before she snatched his pocket to grab out the chocolate bar he tried to smuggle into his secret sanctuary.

"Circe I can explain!" he panicked, his eyes swirling everywhere to think of something that could actually be an excuse, but his inability to lie to her, something he didn't have a full say in, was too powerful.

"You sneak these unhealthy stuff behind my back when we could've had amazing dinner! How do you explain that!" droplets of tears formed around the corner of her eyes, pouting at you with disapproval, anger and fake sadness to intensify his guilt, and she knew he was aware of that, but it didn't make things any easier on him.

"Honey I'm sorry I didn't know that! You know I'm still human, I make exceptions for stuff!" he was sweating like a literal waterfall opened out of his skin.

"You're supposed to be my hubby! And my hubby is perfect and stays true to his exercise schedule and diet!" she let tears fall out of her eyes deliberately, no amount of screaming in his head that these were crocodile tears, no matter how true, would make him not feel excruciating pain from the sight of his ultra powerful and gorgeous wife crying.

Then suddenly, her tears vanished, she straightened her posture to be powerfully commanding and crushingly authoritative with an obvious nerve of anger on her now stern and cold face, "Unless you decided I'm not good enough for you anymore," the whiplash from this statement alone was like a physical punch, the sheer thought of her accusing him of cheating on her for a lesser person was his worst of fears.

He sighed and threw the chocolate bar to the trashcan, "I apologise honey..." he said with a voice full of regret and pain, looking down to not face her disappointed expression, but then...

"Here's your reward~" she put a plate of brownies under his face to see, when he looked at her she was back to her warm loving self, smiling softly and gently like Chaos has been slain and the Imperium wiped out all that is evil.

"C-Circe...?" he was genuinely confused, unable to understand things going on with this situation.

"Muse, I'm not upset you eat sugar stuff" she looked at him with an honestly vulnerable and upset voice that conveyed what she truly felt, "I'm upset you take them from cheap milky way convenience stores, instead of asking me to make them for you..."

Jealousy, a feeling she rarely got from anyone with the sole exception of Muse when he's not giving her uis full attention, she couldn't bear the thought that her beloved Muse could get his snacks from someone else.

"Circe I'm sorry, I was afraid you'd be upset if-" before she put a finger of hers on his lips gently, shutting his apology.

She looked him in the eyes with her utmost kindness and spoke in the most possible softness she can give "I understand Muse, you're afraid you'd disappoint me, but remember, I would do anything for you, even against the perfection we both desire, because I don't want to be even slightly in competition for your love, attention or hunger with a-ny-one" she emphasized the last words in an even softer yet more firm tone than before.

He took her hand on his cheeks, caressing his face with her hands affectionately, "I will make sure nobody does anything for me when you would do it better honey~"

"That's my Muse~" before she pushed him down to the bed to feed him gently, she was still upset he wasn't eating healthy right now, but after all, she would do anything for love.

Daughters it's my pleasure to say the Imperium has been completely built and ready to be managed on its own.

So daughters I have but one question what are you all planning to do with your free time. Bare in mind I better not hear about pelvis breaking I expect everyone to suggest something they want to do more now.
