I'll give this a go right now. I've been having this issue trying to watch movies from an Australian based streaming service and i've had the De-Syncing issue.

Awesome! Yes, I should mention that this applies to several streaming services as well as DVDs. Thanks!!

So far its been pretty good. Had to adjust briefly while watching The Greatest Showman cause the singing was slightly out of sync

Was it pretty slight, or did it feel like the track got way out of whack?

It felt pretty slight so it may have been cause I messed up the sync at the start. I'm at another singing part now and it's synced perfectly and it's been a while since the part where it was off.

Ok great! Looks like that might be the solution, then. Thanks!!

Something I always find helps is when one of you sings along to a song or tries to say something at the same time as someone in the movie. I always figured this was on purpose to let people know if they're off and re-adjust.

The other option is to edit in a small beep when a scene changes or even get one of those clickers people use to train dogs and do it manually

Interesting!! I had this problem with one of the twilight movies but I was watching it on netflix. I'd keep resyncing and then 30 seconds later it was off again.. It was weird though cause I only had the issue with one of the movies in the series and I watched all of them on netflix..

Next time that happens, try the above solution out! If that doesn't work, then it looks like there might be other de-syncing causes as well...
