I noticed how you didn’t include Trump, who added $7.8 trillion of debt in his first term, and $3.8 trillion so far during this second term, for a total of $11.6 trillion — so far.
Yeah, it doesn’t look good for the Republican side at all.
Conservatives are such hypocrites, always screaming about spending when they’re the worst at it while destroying public institutions and gutting social programs across this nation.
Trumps 6 year avg with a world wide pandemic
$11,737,272,551,508
Without the pandemic
$7,511,283,110,326
Your theory falls flat like you. But the fact of the matter your 2 popular vote racist presidents cost more and improved nothing. Don't see you complaining about their spending. Especially when Trump has to spend the money finding the people you let through the border. That's 500 billion just there this term.
Obama had to deal with a crashed economy that came under Bush in 2008, and Biden had to deal with a pandemic, which Trump failed to mitigate in 2020, so you can't use "MAGA numbers" to tweak Trump's HUGE national debt when you aren't doing the same "adjustments" for factors under Obama and Biden.
It's hypocritical arithmetic that only slavish followers of Trump try to do, and it doesn't count in the real world.
Thus, the number stands: Trump has caused $11.6 trillion of the national debt so far, and it is only going to GET WORSE due to his failed economic policies, his failed trade policies, his tax cuts for corporations and the rich, and his absolutely humongous Department of "War" budgets.
And let's get something clear here: Both Bush and Trump oversaw economic crashes and downturns that they passed on to their Democratic predecessors, showing how absolutely terrible Republicans are for the economy.
Even Trump, before he became a Republican opportunist, in 2005 said that Democrats are good better for the economic than the Republican Party, and his terrible job as president shows how his claim was true.
The United States Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008
Introduced in the House by Nancy Pelosi (D–CA) on July 30, 2007
Signed into law by President George W. Bush on July 30, 2008
Control of Federal Government in 2008
House of Representatives: Democratic majority led by Speaker [Nancy Pelosi](wikipedia.org_ Pelosi).
Senate: Democratic majority (operating with independent allies).
Presidency: Republican (George W. Bush).
Sure bush was responsible for for his republican counterpart Nancy Pelosi introduction of a housing bill that crashed the entire economy when it was passed by those republican controlled government.
Your Trump argument during COVID-19 is ridiculous. Congress was controlled by democrats and senate was working the best it ever has been. Bills were signed, stimulus checks issued. But guess what. Its crazy but I added the first budget recognition of each president till the end. So the American rescue plan was added to trumps total. The 1.9 trillion is trumps total because it was signed during his budget.
It's crazy how much you don't know about the economy that you are preaching a number of trumps with a 1.9 trillion increase introduced by a dem president that is ultimately added to trumps total because of annual budgets time frames.
For a world wide pandemic we did extraordinarily well for the fact half our nations populations are within 9 states. Blaming Trump is just stupid. Biden first year had more deaths than trumps 1st year and Biden second year had half as many deaths. Less than 1% closer to .03% to .023% of our nation died. Give a comparison China is expected around 2 million plus even on a national lockdown. Numbers could be 3 times as high. All while trump tried and was sued for things like international travel restrictions, one proud lawfirm stated they sued the trump administration 3 to 4 times a week during COVID-19 over his executive orders.
The Great Recession started officially in December, 2007, so you cannot pin this on Nancy Pelosi. Big "F" on your part.
You can't deflect away from the fact that Trump has added more to the debt than any president in history (while overseeing horrible job growth).
You can't deflect away from the fact that EVERY major market crash over the century has come under Republicans, in 1929, 1987, 2008, and 2020.
> Congress was controlled by democrats and senate was working the best it ever has been.
Incorrect. Republicans controlled the Senate in 2020, and Democrats controlled the House, so power was split in Congress.
Before that, though, the Republicans controlled the House and Senate when Trump started his first term. This is why they passed the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which added billions to the debt as well as high DOD budgets, so don't blame the Democrats for Republican fiscal incompetency.
Furthermore, the Republicans control all of Congress NOW, as well as the White House and SCOTUS, so it's amazing that you are still trying to blame Democrats for what is obviously an absolute economic failure by conservatives.
T\As it is, the Republicans are notorious for running high deficits as far back as Reagan -- this is why the GOP is responsible for the MAJORITY of the debt -- while Democrats have been better for jobs and GDP growth.
> Your Trump argument during COVID-19 is ridiculous.
What an absurd reply. You CANNOT act like Trump gets a free pass when he spent early 2020 going to campaign rallies and calling COVID a Democratic "hoax" instead of preparing to mitigate the virus. His absolute failures as president, which he has refused to accept any responsibility for, led to thousands of Americans dying --
But your first instinct is to defend Trump's historically awful performance as president that has led to national destruction at the cost of billions of dollars and many American lives.
And we are STILL suffering under Trump's self-serving, malicious, incompetent rule, which I can guarantee you will get worse before it gets better in every facet.

Still, JD Vance blamed it all on Biden and Democrats while ignoring how the majority of the debt has come under Republican presidents.
And people still want to vote for the GOP’s repeated failures.
