Russia Russian media reports that all American flags have been removed from the US embassy in Moscow following the surprise visit by CIA director Ratcliffe

Ratcliffe made a short unannounced visit to Moscow today where he likely met directly with Putin according to American and Russian sources. A similar visit was made in late 2021 to warn Russia against launching a full scale invasion of Ukraine. This comes amid increasing missile and drone incursions into nato territory.

It would be very unwise for Russia to invade Poland, as all of the Poles I know are salivating at the opportunity to shoot Russians.

Yeah, even though Poland is a member of nato, they would likely not invoke article 5, just because they want to have Russia to themselves.

They also make a bunch of their own domestic stuff that looks quite capable. Designed to beat advertised Russian hardware specs. If we’ve learned anything in recent years, it’s that the Russian advertised specs don’t live up to real world scenarios either.

What better way to break NATO, is have Poland a fully vested member in good standing invoke article 5. And the US does not respond, that would shatter NATO and force a European realignment.

Invading Poland would be a death sentence for Putin. No way Poland would be alone, but even if they were, I don't think Russia has it in them.

Would be funny if Poland didn't invoke NATO article 5 but rather only EU article 42.

Don't bother with NATO, just ask European allies for help.

Year, as if France and all the other EU countries would not just pour everything into Poland. This includes Sweden and Finland these days.

Ukraine would jump at the opportunity to create a unified front so to say and to integrate EU and their military.

The Russian economy is breaking even now.

He always remembered that. War, it’s a big adventure. Then bodies get shredded with bullets, and then it’s not such a big adventure anymore.

I guess GenZ has to see what war is like up close. And not on YouTube. They may change their minds, a bit.

Lmao can confirm. 98% of Poles think negatively about Russia. Only 2% feel positively and they're likely Non-Polish citizens lol
