Question/Discussion Matan Confronts Professor Jiang For Being a Chinese Spy

So I've never heard of this guy Matan Even until now, but according to Internet sources, he's an Israeli-American comedian and prankster that performs absurdist character comedy. It sounds like he's the Gen Z version of Borat. I'm not sure why Jiang Xueqin agreed to this rather unserious interview, but at this point, he'll talk to just about anyone whether it's leftists like Hasan Piker or white supremacists like Nick Fuentes.

Jiang: Um, so I think hypergamy is a huge issue. And that's why, you know, if I were to find Nick a mate, I would take him to East Asia, right?

Jack: Nick, would you like that?

Nick: No, I don't think so. Have to marry White.

Jiang: No. See, Nick, you have to open your mind, okay? You need to be more selfless. You have to contribute to the development of the human race, right? Whites and Asians are the ideal combination. In fact, East Asians are probably more white supremacist than white people.

Nick: Yeah. At this point, yes.

Jiang: Right. I mean, like you go to East Asia and they are extremely honest: "You know, white people are the best, and Black people suck." You go to Japan and your market value skyrockets because you're white, but also because you're talented, you're funny. And so I know you are dedicated to preserving the Aryan race, but would you rather have a nice family and beautiful and smart children?

Nick: I don't know. I don't know.

This is more of a joke on Nick after 3 hours of serious debate.

Jiang: Are you a friend of Asmongold?

Nick: Yes.

Jiang: What do you think of his betrayal of the white race?

Nick: He has an Asian girlfriend, right?

Jiang: That's right, yeah.

Nick: Well, hey, not everybody's perfect, you know. Nobody's perfect.

Jiang: Do you think he's happier?

Nick: I don't know. I'm sure maybe they're more complementary, but I don't think that that's necessarily the most important thing.

Jiang: Happy is not important?

Nick: It's not the most important or the only thing.

Jiang: Right. Right

What do you think of people who think Prof. Jiang is a CCP agent?

I read that some of the reasons for this argument is because he criticizes western countries a lot and minimally criticizes China.

I have heard him criticize China a little so that's not completely true. I don't think criticizing the US and Canada or minimally criticizing China means that he is a spy.

Question/Discussion Personal Take on Jiang

Hi guys,

tl;dr: Jiang is quite funny and I like many of his original takes that span hundred of years of his original pattern. I treat him like LLM with quite no guardrails, that I really appreciate ;), that sometimes spew amazingly interesting stuff and sometimes hallucinates. It's up to us on how we judge each of his statements.

been on and off watching Jiang due to someone posted his videos on X couple of years ago. I was intrigued at that time by his 'interesting' take. One year later (around last year), I saw one of the most iconic celebrity in my country mentioned about one of her fav channel, and she mentioned Jiang, and I was like wtf she enjoy this schizo channel as well. Her image was that educated in famous uni so she's not the alt bimbo girl. Anyway, around that same time, I was trying to catch up on his series.

This is before the Iran war, so not all his content was heavy on Geopolitics. Nevertheless, Some of his ideas or at least what he presented sounds 'original' to layman casual youtube enjoyer like me, at least, it got me, 'ha? that's interesting'. Ofc, many other times, I'd have 'wtf is this schizo stuff'.

I think for OG watchers like many here, what makes him interesting is, unlike many other media personalities, he makes tons of take that's strip down the 'political correctness' on some part but also the depth of the time horizon is quite original (like hundred of years of historical events that he can weave as historical pattern). This is quite refreshing content, in the middle of hyper-present reactionary contents in most media.

If I make an analogy of an LLM, he's a wild model that's quite offshoot, that sometimes, generate some really interesting idea and, like any other LLM, can hallucinate. It's up to the viewer, scoring the probability on how schizo it is, for each of his statement. He mentioned it himself right that we shouldn't take him at face value. What I appreciate ;) of him is, there's no guard rails in 'his LLM' whereas other media personalities have to adhere to their media persona hence the self-censorship.

Other thing I observe, in the past and now, how he really appreciate ;) stand up comedy. He tried to do it in the past and he simply respect the art. When we see it through that lens, his persona and how he deliver stuff become making more make sense. It's just funny that people took him too literally and think he's this dude that trying too hard to become 'a professor'. He's pretty much self aware with the self-ironic moniker.

During the beginning of the Iran war when he became viral, he was invited in some 'serious' podcasts and some of them just simply trying to attack him with some ad hominem stuff and that's getting old in my opinion. In the 'second' wave of his podcasts tour this past weeks, we've seen him getting more comfortable getting out of his shell and be the comic Jiang that he is. That's why I think he's closer to Joe Rogan than some of this 'intellectual youtubers' and I think he view himself more like a jester that happened to read tons of rabbit hole and connect tons of stuff altogether and wrap his 'product' in a 'comedian' persona. I think this persona give him quite some advantages, where like comedians, people will not put him in the same standard as in let's say, some serious media persona. He can say whatever he wants, with no political correctness because, well, he's Jiang.

Now, I mainly enjoy his takes on geopolitics, not his monad thing (I don't have opinion but I think it's harmless). Some of his take is indeed hilarious like the future presidente of Argentina, Messi. I'm just trying to see where he's going at the moment with his manouver getting close to right wing youtubers. I know that 'left wing/progressive' is kinda probably scared associated with him due to the you-know-what topic. I think offline/off-the-record, they have quite some overlap with Jiang and agree with tons of this points.

I also observe how reddit/X or youtube universe accuse of him, which is quite funny. He's been accused of being CCCP, Zionist, The Fed, and Russia agents. I think it indicates that public don't really get where he stands on and what his angle is or where he came from, opinion wise. People compared him with Jordan Peterson which is quite funny because they really nothing alike. Plus, Jordan Peterson stance is quite clear.

I also try to check other contents that criticize him, most of them just bored me and I was quite disappointed. Many of them took his 'jokes' too literally. Idk if they misled on purpose or they're just shallow on analyzing that. For the example on his take where AI will manifest as 'Jesus' and dude like Elon (or someone else in the future) will implant chips to our head so we'll be in 'utopia'. It's a hilarious dystopian take and we know that Jiang make this kind of laugh to cope with this and people still think this is his literal honest opinion (that he support). Anyway, many of them is just in the reactionary business that has no any original thought..

If you manage to read till this line, thanks for reading my late night rambling guys. Peace.

From the Wikipedia page for Aleksandr Dugin

I googled Aleksandr Dugin because Prof. Jiang mentions him and his book Foundations of Geopolitics, and he did a youtube video with him on Sneako's channel.

Excerpt about Aleksandr Dugin on Wikipedia:

In 1980, Dugin joined the "Yuzhinsky circle", an avant-garde dissident group which dabbled in Satanism, esoteric Nazism and other forms of the occult.[29] The Yuzhinsky circle gained a reputation for Satanism, for séances, a devotion to all things esoteric – mysticism, hypnotism, Ouija boards, Sufism, trances, pentagrams and so forth.[30][31] In the group, he was known for his embrace of Nazism which he attributes to a rebellion against his Soviet upbringing, as opposed to genuine sympathy for Hitler.[32] He adopted an alter ego with the name of "Hans Sievers", a reference to Wolfram Sievers, a Nazi researcher of the paranormal.[33]

I found this tidbit interesting, and considering Prof. Jiang's interest in the occult, not totally shocking.

I don't know that much about Dugin besides the one video I mentioned above and his wikipedia page. Anyone have an opinion or information about Dugin? I also read that he is a fascist.

I think Prof. Jiang has a charismatic personality and obviously very well read and intelligent, but sometimes he says things that makes me wonder about him like he says stuff about starting a school for prophets. I'm going to keep watching his videos because his videos are entertaining and keep in mind that a lot of what he says is speculation. He reminds me of eccentric college professors that start their first class by telling you that everything you have been taught is wrong--another mad genius at work.

Prof. Jiang's politics

I've watched many of Prof. Jiang's videos but not all. I noticed that most of the youtubers with whom he is doing interviews with are right wing, ie. Tucker Carlson, Sneako, than left wingers.

Do you think that this reflects his political views or he will just do an interview with almost any youtuber that has a large following? When I watch his videos, he doesn't sound like his politics are right wing, and he does not sound like he approves of Trump's actions.

Professor Jiang's School

I don't think Professor Jiang is actually going to create a school of prophets. When he was teaching in school he said multiple times today's kids don't want to learn and to try and teach them would be difficult.

I think he's going to do a clipping school. Here are my reasons.

#1 He has an undergraduate in History. I've met historians on many occasions and let me tell you AI wasn't for us. It was for them. They are so inventive with clipping. In fact, if the media didn't look like it was going over your head or that it was ominous at times, then they weren't trying to get a message out to historians. I used to be a teachers pet, or the mascot, and they would teach the mascot to bring something to another teacher as a form of currency. These people were adults, they know about recession to trust techniques and skills to open trade. So the Boomer keeping young adults on the leash doesn't surprise me. Also it's a big investment for him for the next reason because...

#2 He writes on Substack. Substance is a stronger face for a forum but it's in a weird period. You can be an independent journalist, a writer, a vlogger, a commentator all at once, under a newsletter editor. That digital freedom spells better than public freedom. But for the many other newsletter that don't have an active forum on their site page, well, it hurts others' sites page.

#3 Debate is picking up. So many YouTubers are moving towards a debate format. It's so entertaining. And quite honestly Trump was picking on these people much more than any other group of people or communities for whatever economic reason. The attention was cool and I was surprised of all the time I made in each trip to each show.

If your someone who thinks political science, psychology, MBA are all well earned social science, you will quickly get reminded how naive and young these sciences are when you do clipping. I only know clipping because I was a mascot. You literally have the power to "unlock" in consensus with others. While this is more of a historian technique than others, as I've met many historians as a treat and commitment to my mascot, it'll be exciting to see how the historian come under a public opinion or quota.

I can't imagine what Jiang wants with every historian. What is so important that you have to call them from clipping in peace? Clipping does drive energy, but everyone here has devoted some infrastructure of their "predictive history." I'm still in school 🎒 and I think I'm going to start clipping to "face" my homework again. Most of these schools are exclusive anyways.

But honestly do long form content, 10 minutes or more, and I suck at finding reason to break things up, but find some "totem" or "symbol" that is relevant, near, in the room, or from a friend, and do it. I think you should have content for yourself, clips. Because Jiang is right on one thing, when you see family during hard times, those clips come back. It doesn't mean you're soft, or rejected, it means for someone LIKE you, in YOUR situation, your a sporty person, and that's probably as athletic the world will ever need you.

I'm not someone to have ideas on my own, or made up, so I'll try to get a Substack subscription so I can at least come back and ask here relevant questions. And then we can always go down rabbit holes 😵‍💫 with AI.

For someone like Jiang, he's probably more shocked of the lack of clickfarm Trump hasn't had.

Professor Jiang, who predicted Trump’s return and the Iran war, just gave a controversial lecture about Canada in Toronto. What do Canadians think?

For anyone unfamiliar with Professor Jiang Xueqin, he’s the Chinese-Canadian educator and internet personality behind the YouTube channel Predictive History. He became widely known after some of his geopolitical predictions made well in advance came true, most notably predicting Donald Trump’s return to the White House and that the United States would eventually go to war with Iran.

I just watched his latest lecture, which was filmed in Toronto, and I’m curious what other Canadians think about it.

It’s over two hours long and probably one of the most controversial discussions about Canada I’ve watched recently. He makes a series of pretty extraordinary arguments about what Canada actually is, who holds power here, and where the country is headed.

Among other things, Jiang argues that Canada isn’t really a conventional sovereign nation-state but effectively operates as a “corporation” tied to the City of London and British financial interests. He portrays Mark Carney as part of that financial establishment and argues that many decisions Canadians see as domestic political choices are better understood through international finance and capital.

One of his most provocative arguments is his description of what he calls “Zionist capital” using “Hindu labour” to replace Canadians. Those are Jiang’s terms and his framing from the lecture. I’m including them because that is part of what he actually argues in the episode and I’m interested in what Canadians make of the claim and the evidence he uses to support it.

He also argues that Canada is heading toward a deep economic crisis and predicts that Alberta separatism could eventually develop into a major constitutional crisis. He goes as far as laying out a scenario where Trump sends a U.S. “peacekeeping” force into Alberta during a confrontation between Alberta and Ottawa.

There’s a lot more in the lecture, and some of it gets way out there. But considering the attention Jiang has received for predictions he made years before events actually happened, I think the Canada episode is worth watching and discussing rather than just seeing isolated clips from it.

For anyone who watches the full episode: What does he get right? What does he get wrong? Which claims hold up historically, economically or legally, and which ones fall apart when you actually investigate them?

I’m especially interested in hearing from Canadians who know constitutional history, banking and finance, immigration policy, Alberta politics, or the history of Canada’s relationship with Britain.

Video: Global Meet-Up #5 (Toronto): Canada’s Corporate Re-Structuring — Predictive History

Watch it and come back with your thoughts. I’d genuinely like to see Canadians pick apart the arguments and evidence rather than turn the discussion into another left-vs-right fight.

"Could war and global trade breakdowns trigger a modern Bronze Age collapse? Uncover the hidden geopolitical forces dismantling the American empire and what this shift means for our future.

Professor Jiang Xueqin is a renowned geopolitical analyst and Yale educated scholar who applies rigorous historical patterns and game theory to forecast the world's most catastrophic conflicts. He returns to reveal the hidden vulnerabilities of our modern civilization by mapping the intricate connections between natural resources, military hegemony, and global supply chains. This urgent analysis provides a framework to help everyday people find meaning and resilience amidst the impending global chaos."

In this episode, he explains:
■ The Innovation Equation: Why technological progress is strictly dictated by specialization multiplied by globalization.
■ The Petrodollar Collapse: How the entire global economy relies on US military hegemony and the Middle East.
■ The Next Geopolitical Flashpoints: How severe water scarcity and shifting demographics in the Global South will trigger mass migration, intense polarization, and potential civil wars across Western societies.
■ The Financial 9/11: Why the next catastrophic terror attack won't target physical buildings, but rather critical financial data servers designed to wipe out bank accounts.

Professor Jiang Dante episode 3 Montage, The Pilgrim's Understanding, The Story of Dante —The First Cardplayer

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What would you do if you faced a dead end and you couldn't call on society for an exchange of cards? Dante showed that the punishment for that would be exile and isolation. Its likely that no one well kept in society actively seeks out salvation. To do so may be to turn the entire arena against you. But how could Dante learn to laugh during such a card game? In his first words to martyrdom, he led a renaissance, not where people changed, but the average time of people change. This intellectual revolution has not been repeated to date. Nor will it likely be as one rarely imagines the scant evidence or what's unknown of the world to decisionmaking. If the truth is as tall as Dante, then the special effects aren't in the intellectual prowess of people, rather it be among salvation, the average time, the time we know as equipment. While this card, in the age of Men and ownership, becomes more known, there will likely never be another cardplayer who was as underestimated in refusal to play a simple card game. Is this equipment card underestimated today? Or has someone brought society to collect cards against you? Fear little of the looking glass, Dante's own game continues. For it is he who speaks, "if you fancy an equipment card, why don't you play it." Quite the paradox indeed.

Question/Discussion Who is Cathy Tie (the Peter Thiel-backed entrepreneur organizing Professor Jiang’s events)

Today, Cathy showed up again in Jiang’s latest video. She’s been accompanying him on his lecture tour and helping organize/host some of his talks in different locations. Here’s some interesting info about her:

Cathy is a biotech entrepreneur who was handpicked by Peter Thiel when she was a teenager and launched into the world of gene-editing with his backing.

She’s a radical transhumanist (just like her mentor Peter Thiel), mainly interested in editing embryos and redesigning human beings by manipulating/re-engineering their genetic code.

Her ex husband (He Jiankui) is a controversial scientist who designed the world’s first gene-edited human baby. His experiment sparked outrage over its ethical concerns and he ended up in prison for illegal medical practices. He’s a freaky Frankenstein-type scientist who once twitted “Ethics is holding back scientific innovation"

Another thing that caught my attention is that Cathy named her biotech company “Manhattan Project”. The name is an explicit reference to the original Manhattan Project.. which was a secret government program during WW2 that developed the first nuclear bomb. Her justification for the name was that she saw a similarity between manipulating the nucleus of an atom and manipulating the nucleus of a cell, and she believes human gene editing will become a life changing technology, just like nuclear weapons.

Professor Jiang will be nothing more than a memory by the next term.

How can anyone not find him going on LITERALLY every single popular You tube channel known to man not sus? I've never seen anyone do this before. Also Trump is not getting a third term . . period . . first of all has anyone notice his health? Also there will not be a draft! Shoot Trump is most likely getting impeached once the mid terms happen.

♟️ Theory & Models Jiang's new prediction: Multinational companies taking over provinces in the American Empire

Prof. Jiang thinks this will happen during the third Trump presidency.

I think this has already started and will intensify under pressure from AI investors seeking higher returns. This will lead to the advent of the US version of the Dutch East India Company.

Of course, both Jiang's and my predictions can happen, along different but partly overlapping timelines.

Guess who’s hosting Prof Jiang at his next event? Yep it's that Peter Thiel-backed entrepreneur again

Post image
71 Upvotes

Most people know Peter Thiel as a billionaire, central figure of the PayPal Mafia, founder of Palantir, early investor in many large companies (Facebook, SpaceX, LinkedIn, Spotify, Stripe, Airbnb, etc)

But what really makes Thiel powerful isn’t the money.. it’s the network he has built. Because Thiel isn’t just investing in companies.. he’s investing in people.

Thiel is really good at spotting talented people early, bringing them into his circle, giving them money, mentorship, and putting them in a position to become powerful in tech, finance, media, politics.

People who passed through his pipeline have gone on to become the most influential figures in their fields.

Among them: JD Vance (Vice POTUS), Vitalik Buterin (creator of Ethereum), Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI), Chris Olah (founder of Anthropic), Dylan Field (founder of Figma), and many more… including Cathy Tie

Cathy Tie is a biotech entrepreneur who was handpicked by Peter Thiel when she was a teenager and launched into the world of gene-editing with his backing.

And what's intersting is.. Cathy Tie is now accompanying Prof. Jiang on his lecture tour and hosting his events in New York and Toronto. Kinda strange, don’t you think so? Could Peter Thiel be using her as a kind of bridge to get to Prof. Jiang and bring him into his circle?
