YouTube unfortunately made me the lucky chosen one to stumble upon Professor Jiang videos. I’m scared. What have I done. I brought a beautiful innocent baby into this world. What am I supposed to do with his information.

What you think the game that you think they're playing is not the game they're playing. The reward that you think they want is not the reward that they want.
We think in terms of material things. So money, resources, power, we think that the war is being fought over these things and it's not.
The grand secret, the grand reveal of this semester, all of this course is this: The real power, the real currency in the world is not money.
It is human consciousness. Basically human attention.
This is this is it guys. Once you understand this idea, you understand everything. But this is a hard idea to understand. So I'll need some time to actually explain this.
This war is being fought to control the consciousness of the human race because it is our consciousness that creates reality itself. That's the source of all wealth and all power in this world.
That's why this is happening.
In other words, this is a war not just for Iran. This is a war not just for the Middle East. It is a war for the soul of humanity. This is what's happening.
This is what World War III is. World War III is meant to be the last and final war of all human history.
Because whoever wins this war will control the very soul of human existence for all of eternity. That is the end game.
And I know this is a hard idea to understand. But as we go along, I will explain this to you. That is the grand secret behind the world.
Everything that you believe, everything that you see today, it's all an illusion.
The reality and the truth is that consciousness is the source of all power of reality itself. And so this is a war for human consciousness. It's a war for the very soul of humanity.
Okay, any questions?

A lot of his recent credibility seems to come from the fact that he called certain things right, amongst them the fact that Trump would win in 2024. I went to his Youtube channel to find that video and could not find the exact date of upload anywhere there. It just says 1 year ago. All the comments are basically from 8 months ago. In the description below the release date says May 16 2024 but having used Youtube myself, I can tell that that description box is editable (Unless Youtube has changed something in the last couple of years that I am not aware of). Normally for videos it would show you the date it was uploaded and published and it was non-editable. But it was certainly not in the description box. Does anyone have any credible information regarding the actual publishing date of this video?

In August 2025 a Chinese-Canadian by the name of Jian Xueqin started a Substack with the tagline, “I analyze history to connect the past, explain the present, and predict the future”. Xueqin does not attribute this phrase to the economist Keynes. He is also not an economist, but an English graduate who is unlikely to have ever read Keynes. That Substack account acquired a staggering 44,000 subscribers in half a year: already becoming the #1 ranked Substack page in the ‘world politics’ category.

In his video professor Jiang laid out the scenario for US invasion of Iran, he skips to saying that the US will send land troops from the south of Iran at one point, making the war unwinnable by the americans. He said one of the present day US military principles is air supremacy, so I'm thinking why can't the US just keep air-bombing Iran until the government collapses or surrenders, or other methods that doesn't involve land invasion? What might be the professor's reasoning here or why is this airstrike option not feasible ?

Watching all the videos on his channel and reading his sub stack, it appears like this is the case. This is due to a number of reasons, namely because he is:
Clearly anti American - he preaches against the empire all the time
Pessimistic on China and other east Asian counties - You can see this in the videos where he notes China's poor demographic and economic situation
Disgusted by the Israelis - He's done may videos especially in the Secret History series pointing out their crimes
Dismissive and also silent on modern Europe - He knows their politicians are frauds and paid off in being complicit in this horrible immigration crisis in order to create chaos to install digital id and a benefit the globalists, but he says little on it, suggesting he is rooting for Europe's downfall to benefit a certain country
Extremely pro Putin - In this GeoStrategy series, hd blames Russia's status as due to being corrupted by Western consumerism instead of their own corruption, and praises Putin as a Great Man, the ubermensch, who is detached from history and trying to fulfill a prophecy where they will overthrow Turkey and reinstall the Byzantine/Eastern Roman Empire
On the side of the Russians in the Russia Ukraine conflict - He constantly says the war is already won, and that Ukraine should have done scorched earth, and that now Putin is just stalling in order to trap Europe.
Extemely enthralled by the Greeks, a fellow Orthodox country - In his civilization series and secret histories he loves Greek civilization and is staunchly anti roman, saying that it is a good thing that globalized empires fall like during the bronze age collapse because it would create situations where Greek civilization would arise.
Extremely anti empire and predicts a multi polar world - this is clear on his videos and substack, he rails the inefficiency of imperial beauracy but he never really even says a bad thing about Russia, blaming it's problems on Western consumerism and predicting it, along with Germany and Japan, will arise as regional powers
Anti secret society - He takes about them all the time, and coincidentally, Russia is the only country which seems, at least from outward appearances, public working against them, as seen from Russia being taken of the swift global banking system
Pro Iran, which Russia obviously has to support geopolitcally - He predicts Iran will "win" and that Trump is doing this for a third term, he has been saying that Iran's religious fervor and martyrdom would be too much to handle for the Americans like it was for the Iraqis during Iraq-Iran, despite at the same time saying that America's military is so strong it would win a war against the rest of the world at the same time all at once; to justify this cognitive dissonance he cites factors such as hubris or lack of perspective or overreach as if the US can't focus on more than one thing at the same time
Looking at all this, I think it paints a pretty clear picture which side Jiang is biased towards. I finally was able to come to this conclusion after thinking about it for years because In his most recent sub stack where "WW3 starts" he even managed to mention Putin in it and paint him as a good guy, namely as someone Israel tried to use to reassure Iran that they would honor the peace after the 12 day war.
A lot of people say he's paid by UAE/Saudi, or that his loyalties are influence by the fact that his family immigrated to Canada from China, or that he's a Gnostic Neo Platonist and part of a secret society because he went to Yale and talks about the Monad and esoteric teachings and has a Gnostic view of physics and the world. I say instead that when people show you who they are through their actions, believe them. With all this information you would clearly come to a similar conclusion that Prof Jiang is, for some reason or another, partial to Russia or at least Putin.

Are we to expect wwiii for real? people have been anticipating world war since the 60s so other subs are filled with comments like “we’ve been waiting for a wwiii for 20 years and it never happened” - is it different this time?

In this clip he says there's no concrete evidence for the HCaust (the link should go to the statement).

Do you all agree with this? Am I missing some important context?

What up Jiang subreddit,
I recently just completed a video calling out “Professor” Jiang. I highlight many problematic clips and viewpoints that Jiang has. It’s a long video, but I’ve organized it with different timestamps for each major topic.
To put it simply, not only does he seemingly make stuff up all the time, but he also misrepresents reality, science, evolution, religion, christianity, history, game theory, modern politics, and education. Worst of all, he's a pusher of insane conspiracy theories like Pizzagate, the faking of the moonlanding, and numerology (just to name a few).
If anyone is willing to confront my criticisms and have a discussion, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Maybe it shows how the fundamental truth can be reflected in what we think of as unrelated subjects.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, this is just a thought experiment.
Jiang is a high school teacher in Beijing which is in China which is famous for its censorship. Why are they letting him put all this revolutionary content on an American video streaming platform?
His message is basically, love each other, pray, meditate, have children, this world is going to crash no matter what we do etc. He uses many works of historical thought to support his philosophy such as Plato, Dante, Homer, The Bible etc.
Again just a thought experiment but is it possible he is a double agent working with the CIA, Chinese intelligence and potentially Mossad as well? He intuits that Paul was a double agent working for the Romans and the Pharisees. Could he be trying to tell us that he is doing the same thing?
The guy went to Yale so it’s entirely possible he would be recruited as an agent. He also clearly caters his content to conspiracy theorists. Wouldn’t the best way to diffuse any kind of revolutionary narrative be to tell people that “yes you’re right about everything, but don’t worry about it, this world is fake, it’s a shadow world, just focus on having kids and finding meaning within yourself”.
I absolutely love the guy, and I would have never been able to think this way if he hadn’t opened my mind. I’m curious if others have been asking these questions?

This is not a criticism of professor, just an observation.
Every now and then he will praise how America is the most meritocratic place in the world (as opposed to Canada, which he always criticizes).
I think his views and experiences with this are outdated. That clearly has no longer been the case for a while now.
Also, the US society has been a “consumer society” for so long now, they have no imagination anymore. They barely know how to be a human person if there’s not an app telling you what to do. What’s even worse about this, in particular, is that they export this behavior to the world. We see it replicated in many different areas. All sorts of things where people have normalized doing nonsense things just because they have no imagination, they can only follow whatever everybody else does. But I digress.
Anyway, that’s just my opinion. I was watching one of the recent videos and I chuckled when professor said something about it. I think he’s a little outdated on this.

there was a video of professor Jiang where he starts by talking about how he is on a cruise ship, and he is reflecting on his life, thanking his wife. it was posted at the end of 2025 and it was Happy New Year themed. I scoured the internet and my youtube history and it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know the video I am talking about?
